After receiving the new images form the newest Inside Infinite I feel that it is safe to say that from the Warthog image, Banished Stronghold, and Banshee image that they are all somewhat in the same area of the ring being that we can see the broken part of the ring and the ship from the Warthog screenshot and we can also see the Banished Stronghold from the concept art all in the beautiful Banshee screenshot. Seeing this wide landscape from just this small section of this halo ring makes me feel super excited at the amount of detail we are going to able to interact with and explore. Knowing that we are going to be able to explore the whole ring and to see these screenshots, they give justice to the fact that this section of Zeta Halo isn’t even close to the start of it because in the background of the Banshee image we can see that past the broken part of the ring the rest of it goes into the sky and that whole long stretch of land is going to as detailed as this and be even more massive because we are only seeing maybe at least one thirtieth of the ring in the screen shot (rough estimate and not including past the broken part of the ring only the buildings and mountains from the image). This game is going to be so massive and huge I don’t even know how I’m going to be able to explore it all because judging at the fact that Eric Richter, the UI Designer said that we probably wouldn’t see the out of bounds prompt just drives the fact that we will be able to literally see and touch everything. I love the direction this game is going because holy moly I’m so hyped. I can’t wait to grapple onto and highjack a banshee and take that magnificent red machine of destruction across a gap of stars.

While I do agree the play spaces are large, I am pretty confident this will not be a thing. We will be limited to the broken areas of the ring. We could also go to other sections of the ring but in general, I want people to temper their expectations here. I find it very unlikely they built an entire ring
its a pretty massive world for us to explore we just dont know enough to really say and klobrille said they still havent even touched openly on huge parts of the project and the team is really passionate about the entire game and im really excited for the game overall
Yeah I expect from that perspective it will be more like Witcher 3 with large areas (refugia) then cutscene/fast travel to different areas.

Based on Halopedia:
> The Halos encountered in the modern times are 10,000 kilometers in diameter; this size is roughly similar to that of Earth, which is 12,756 km in diameter. While the original twelve Halos had a diameter of 30,000 kilometers, concerns about their structural stability and transport led to the second series of rings being reduced in size. The surface of each ring is 318 kilometers wide, with a depth of 22.3 kilometers to 47 kilometers. The overall circumference of the ring is 31,415 km and the interior surface area is 9,985,200 km2 - roughly the size of Canada.
You mean 343 wont be able to build and detail this amount of area? Come on 343, I want to hop in a warthog for a nice long road trip all the way around. It should only take a couple of days of continuous driving, why else would we need the extra fuel canisters on the back?

I get this is a joke, but some people do actually think we will get the entire ring. Lots not fuel that idea
