Getting a big hint...

So, I’m reading through the Game informer magazine and well, at one point it says that there is an entire covenant armada at Requiem (the world master chief crash lands on). During one of the HALO: CE terminals 343 guilty spark makes contact with the covenant, and says he plans to use them (something along those lines) so what I think could possibly be the theme is that yes, the forerunners are back, and they’re using the covenant somehow, most likley against humanity.

It is also stated that an entire ARRAY of enemies are introduced, so we’re not just fighting on e type of enemy, it’s also stated they have their own specific weapons and vehicles. This IS leading the enemy to be the forerunners. For those who do not know, forerunners are GENETICALLY divided into different classes, Engineers, warriors, Miners and more. They also have their sentinels and monitors, war sphinxes and more. If the new enemy is indeed the forerunners, then we will have a LOT to fight.

Things are looking very, very promising for Halo 4, if your worried about something, just sit back and relax, these guys know what they’re doing.

Ever heard of spoiler tags? Bloody hell.

I’m pretty sure it’s the Multiplayer that’s caused so much ruckus, not the Campaign. (In reply to “trust them”.)

> Ever heard of spoiler tags? Bloody hell.

It’s not a spoiler if it isn’t confirmed. What OP said is mere speculation.

Read the following quote.

I’d call that a spoiler. I didn’t read past that.

I’d call that a very, very minor spoiler. You’re being far to pedantict.

No, I’m not. I knew there would be at least one Covenant ship there. But an ENTIRE armada? That changes things completely.

I don’t remember it saying there’s a covvy armada… hmmm… but just so you know SPOILER, 343 Guilty Spark Died in Halo 3. and he used to Covenant in Halo 2, he had those Covenant Heretics following his lead, the 11th terminal on Waypoint shows how he makes contact with them after the destruction of Installation 04.
I doubt it’s the forerunners… but ya never know. I’d put a guess more on Precursors, but I dun k. lol =)
It’s all speculation, but I’m excited for it, Whoever the heck the new threat is, and I’m excited to beast as John again. =) =)

I just don’t think its’ the precursors because they’re just to dam big, I expect to see them at the end of Halo 6, but not halo 4. It was specifically stated that the new enemy offers an array of new weapons and vehicles for use, something large enough to fit a precursor would be to large for a human, especially considering weapons. precursors are giants, and it wouldn’t make sense to skip the forerunners.

True True, good point. Forerunners it is then! lol =)

The last terminal with him going to the covenant is already known with what happens with the 11th terminal and halo 2. It has nothing to do with halo 4.

When he says he plans to use then, I believe he means to activate Halo, because he wants it done for containment, but he can use them to activated because they want it activated to fulfill their crazy religious beliefs

sorry, but 343 guilty spark was excavated by an ONI science team. he informed them about…well…a lot of things. they gave him control of their ship and they are going…somewhere (;

you should really read the books lol

That’s shouldn’t count as a spoiler.

If you read Glasslands, you already knew about the two warring factions within the Elites. I expected this to happen at one point.

Yeah no, while I agree that it isn’t much of a spoiler, glasslands HARDLY predicts this. Glasslands talks about the elites having differing views. NO WHERE does it hint that the covenant, a collection of species of which the elites are only ONE of, are getting back together. Theres still over 4 years between glasslands and the beginning of H4. THere is still a LOT to happen, so don’t pretend everything is “obvious”. Nothing is ever so straightforward.

If you actually read the books you’d know that it isn’t 343 guilty spark who took control of the ship. It was an AI made from chakas, who was apparently copied or something and made into the various monitors of the installations.

you should re-read the books lol

Forerunners are quite massive as well, easily being at least 4 meters tall. Any weapon or vehicle designed for them to use would be too big for any regular human to use. Saying that we’ll be fighting Forerunners isn’t necessarily a very viable guess either.

SPOILER

343i confirmed that the last terminal in Halo: CEA would contain a sneak-peak to halo 4. In that terminal 343 Guilty Spark says something along the lines of (I don’t remember the exact words): “But that would mean he would have to be here too, and without the Librarian here to temper his rage these reclaimers might almost prefer the Flood.” The Librarian was a Forerunner (as far as I know), so that tells me that this mysteries guy with anger issues that 343 Guilty Spark mentions might be a Forerunner and the new enemy.

They’re not that much bigger then humans, except for the genetically modified ones.

I suspect that the “he” that was mentioned is either the didact, or the master builder. I’ be pretty pissed off if some one destroyed my super weapon to.
