Hello all.

I couldn’t see any threads regarding box art adapted for wallpapers, so I jumped in to Photoshop and whipped up a few.

Enjoy:

1920x1080 (1080p)
1680x1050 (Most monitors)
1680x1050 (Most monitors) (v2)
1366x768 (Laptops)
480x800 (Windows Phone 7)
640x960 (iPhone)
768x1024 (iPad)*

p.s. any requests are welcome (although I’m not great with Ps); and if you’ve made your own I’ll add it to OP :slight_smile:

Marvelous! Thanks for including one that doesn’t have the 343 and MS logos. Those get covered by my taskbar.

It’s nice to see that you made an attempt in doing this, but there is just too much .jpeg artifacts in the large wallpapers (very noticeable in the 1920x1080 version) for my liking… I’d rather wait until someone from 343i releases an official boxart wallpaper.

Good effort though.

Talk about nit picking. I can’t see any artifacts left over in the image. I had to zoom in to 200 in Photoshop to even get the OP wallpaper to pixelate, let alone see in .JPEG artifacts.

That being said, the 1680x1050 version 2 looks great on my monitor that is for sure.

Well I am using a large screen with 1920x1080 pixels, so quality means allot to me. I assume OP had cropped & enlarged the original picture to fit on native 1080p screens, and in doing so will create some noticeable artifacts which I cannot tolerate, especially with pictures of this quality.

But this is just how I feel… each to their own.

You could just load the image in a browser… Not that there’s anything wrong with SkyDrive.

As for the minor artifacts; there’s not too much I can do about that. Sorry.
