Woot.com is having a Halo Megabloks set on sale today only, for those in the USA. 
I wont be getting it, but it seems like a pretty good price mark down deal for those of you who collect the Megabloks line!
They are also having another sale, “Halo-Can-You-Go”, which will last a couple days…you Megabloks lovers got a bit of luck today. ;]

Dang…those are some pretty good deals. Unfortunately, I’ve already got all of those…for the same price, too!

I don’t know how many people lurk this thread but maybe a few got a set or two they wanted for cheaper than they thought they could. You know how I feel about toys being on sale.

True that. I had every single spawn and repaint from the beginning, to 2003. Movie maniacs, transformers takara, Hasbro from the 80’s to the classic redos, all the Simpsons and play sets, 80s GI joes, thunder cats, star wars from 80’s, 90’s, a ton of anime figures, he man, mego. All in all around 8500 figures total all c-9 on card or higher. Sold them as a lot to a comic book shop. Let’s just I got out at the right time as far as making a profit.
I did keep all my transformers, he-man and a few real good mego

You can buy whole series of toys without hunting.
I just picked up a MIP SDCC Halo 3 Grifball Recon Spartan for $15.00 from a friend who runs a Halo-dedicated toy forum. Absolute steal compared to the $70-100.00 tag I see at some places.

On another note, I went to Target yesterday, and they had the following new sets:
UNSC Pelican Gunship
UNSC Light Assault VTOL
UNSC Cyclopes (originally all four, but Arctic and Attack were bought by someone.)
and UNSC Hornet vs. Covenant Vampire
The Hornet and Pelican sets were NOT in the normal Halo Mega Bloks aisle. They were in a different aisle with what looked like RC cars and trucks. They were laid down, not upright, so their bottoms were facing the aisle. For anyone looking for these, be sure to check EVERY aisle, not just the Mega Bloks aisle. ;D

Oh yes, they do. Even when you think there’s nothing they can throw at yah, they manage to grab yah and pull you in.
On a more unfortunate note, I just got back from Walmart with an awesome Covenant Drop Pod: Elite General for $7. Think that’s great? Well, I just “happened” to pick the one with a crushed leg peg. It’s partially flattened, meaning A)it won’t go in all the way and B)it won’t turn. Apparently, I have to call them, as the set isn’t in the system. D:

Waypoint has posted a video about the last 5 years with Mega Bloks. I can’t believe it’s been that long. Hope the next 5 years with Mega Bloks will be great.
