Toy Fair has been interesting for Halo so far. The Nerf guns are cool, and Mega Bloks is going to be releasing some great sets. I cannot wait for series 3 to drop and it is nice to see McFarlane doing some H5G figures. The Chief figure caught my attention, but not because it is another Chief figure. His breast plate seems to be repaired and his visor is not cracked. His AR also has a white stripe on it down the front.

I noticed this at second glance. I thought for sure it was just another Master Chief repaint, so I skimmed over it initially, ogling Spartan Locke instead. When I went back and looked, I noticed the same things - the repaired chest plate and the uncracked visor (though I honestly have a hard time making it out - it looks like it could be cracked). Then I noticed that stripe down his Assault Rifle and I realized this is actually a proper Halo 5: Guardians Master Chief. Will definitely be picking him up alongside Agent Locke. Kind of bummed he looks so similar to his Halo 4 version, but oh well.
Hopefully McFarlane throws us a bone soon and reveals more than just John-117 and Spartan Locke for the first Halo 5: Guardians line.
The fact that the only available order on the Jul 'Mdama figure from Amazon takes a month to ship is ridiculous (I won’t get mine until March). I don’t understand, the series 3 figures just released and there’s next to no retailer support for them.

OMG! The banshee is getting a new look for Halo5! I can’t wait to pick that megabloks set, and the plasma pistol dart gun up. :3

Yeah, I haven’t seen any at my local Walgreens (any of the three in my town). I’ve also noticed that popular online retailers like Entertainment Earth and Big Bad Toy Store have all pushed shipping dates off into March. I wonder what’s happening.

The union workers at the West Coast shipping ports are on strike currently.
I was browsing the Walking Dead Collector Facebook and a member there got in touch with a rep from Walgreens who said that McFarlane Walking Dead Series 7 got delayed from March to late April/May because of the strikes. Presumably the same delay is happening with McFarlane Halo series 3.

I just saw those Nerf guns today. I’m definitely going to buy the Magnum and SMG (preferably two of each for dual wielding) to spray paint into game-accurate colors.

Seems like I’m going to buy another nerf gun just for this occasion. The SMG is beautiful and so is the carbine. Wish they had the BR though.
