I keep thinking about picking up one of the older series Master Chief figures. I have the Halo 4 figure along with the one from “The Package” box set. Just not the Halo 3 model, which is kind of my favorite.
Outside of Amazon, where would be a good place to pick up one online?
I have collected a little of halo memorabilia. Pod sets, action figures, weapons etc, but what I seen the other day was amazing. A full suit of armor Spartan II status, looked sick
Got my hands on my first Halo Mega Bloks action figure. My sister bought me one of the 2014 Alpha series packs, and felt the shape of the figures at the store to not get me a camo Brute, which is funny because the camo Brute is the one that is Ultra Rare. I got a Blue Spartan Enforcer.
I must say I am impressed by the posability, and detail on these figures. Can’t really tell what weapon the Spartan is holding though… it looks like a Halo: Reach Grenade Launcher.

I’d like to know this, too; specifically, I want a Halo 3 Master Chief figure that is in scale with my other five Master Chief figures - I like to pose them together. The one from the original Halo 3 McFarlane line is an inch or so shorter, I think. I ended up getting the silver Halo 3 Master Chief from one of the 2011 conventions for Christmas and he’s a really attractive figure. Only about twenty bucks on Amazon right now. He’s in scale with the other Master Chief toys, too. That said, he’s silver. He just doesn’t match them. He deserves his own spot in my collection; he just doesn’t fit in with my other Master Chief figures.
I actually have a similar problem with the Halo: Combat Evolved figure. He’s clearly influenced by the original video game itself - low polygon count, flat surfaces, little sculpt detail. It’s a retro look. It works well for the figure itself, but all five of my other Master Chief figures look like they’ve stepped out of their respective games and into real life - they’re quite detailed, down to the sculpt. I would love if McFarlane did a Mk. V Master Chief in his suit from the remastered Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, instead of modeling it after the underdetailed original model. If they added some more modern articulation in while they were at it, that would be even better.
There’s actually a normally colored chase variant of the silver Chief. The only problem is that he goes for a lot because of his rarity. Luckily, there are a few similar Chiefs from different multipacks that I see going fairly cheap on eBay.
Sad day when my Hornet died… Must find replacement.
EDIT: Wrong section.

There’s only three that it could be, nkok rc hornet, Mega bloks or Jada.

Wow, that is expensive. I actually just ended up buying the three-pack with the Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, and Halo 3 Master Chief figures, all in Halo: Reach scale. I don’t mind having the repeat figures too much. Funny enough, I got the pack for about half the price of that normal-colored variant of the Halo 3 Master Chief. I can’t find that guy for anything under sixty dollars. He’s expensive! I would love the Assault Rifle bundled with that figure, but the Sniper Rifle in the three-pack will have to do it for me. Even if I end up one day getting that variant figure (it’s really tempting), that thing will be staying in the box. Thanks for the heads-up. I love me some Master Chief figures.

TRU and BA Toys if they sell any.
Does anybody have a way to get McFarlane’s Halo 4 Zealot to reliably hold its Energy Sword? I just picked this figure up over the Christmas season with some of the cash I received (finally - he’s been on my list for the better part of a year and a half). I just can’t at all seem to get him to hold the thing in any pose except for sticking it straight into the air. And that’s even a bit shaky, as the weapon is then visibly simply sitting in his hand.
I also kind of want to comment on my disappointment at the new Series 3 line coming out this Spring. It’s awesome to see more figures, but this Zealot figure has specifically made me see that the Jul 'Mdama figure coming up is just a repaint. From what I can see, the sculpt is identical. 'Mdama even comes with the same Energy Sword. That’s just kind of disappointing. The two new Spartans will be nice to have, but they don’t look terribly impressive either. I know the McFarlane Halo lines are conceivably close to death, but I still can’t believe all of the figures we’ve missed out on for Halo 4. A huge number of Elite, Grunt, Jackal, and Knight variants, Hunters, the Librarian, Gek, etc. Considering some of the lengths McFarlane has gone to with Halo figures in the past, I had hoped differently. Hopefully someone awesome really carries the torch going into Halo 5: Guardians, because some of the character art just looks fantastic. A Helioskrill figure would be so awesome.

The problem is how Halo 4 wasn’t very received well, thus it has less business profits.

I would be inclined to respectfully disagree. Halo 4 scored an 87% on Metacritic, three points away from “Universal Acclaim”. The game also snagged $220 million in its first day. I think it was clearly well-received and successful. It lacked the longevity of older Halo titles, but that’s just the way the game industry works nowadays. Show me any one game title that’s still at the top of any charts three years after its release nowadays (except Minecraft). It just doesn’t happen anymore.

I just wrapped a clear rubber band around the hand and sword.
Welcome
Hey everyone! Sorry for not being around. The rest of Waypoint has been quite depressing. Anything exciting happen in my absence?
