General question here…I saw (wish I could have brought it home) a Master Chief figure in a salvage/closeout store about a year ago. I’m not sure the actual size of the figure, but the box was easily two feet tall. I’ve been looking for another one since, but can’t seem to find it anywhere. Does anyone know what it was and where I might find such a thing?

Are you sure that it was 2 feet?
I can’t think of a box for a figure which is THAT big…
My best guesses are Kai Play Arts or something around that caliber.
May I ask what price it was?
They need to bring out a life size working energy sword.

I heard that Cloaked was better as H2A was reskinned basically.

Yesterday I had the lime green strike team (can’t recall their name at the moment) set in my hand … and I ended up passing on it.
It has most of the Spartan Armor that I really like, but I just couldn’t bring myself to buy it.
Probably just as well, aside from the Spartans on my desk at work, most of my Halo memorabilia and goodies has been packed away for the upcoming holidays.

I actually remember these. I’ve been collecting the McFarlane toys as well as the Square Arts Kai figures since they first came out. The Chief you’re referring to came in Blue for Wal Mart, Brown for Toys R Us and Green for most everyone else. Anyone else here collect the halo statues? I have the McFarlane Halo 4 & the FUD statue. I also have the Sideshow Collectibles Masterchief and the Weta Cortana, chief and arbiter, and chief and flood. They are all really nice pieces. Originally I had all of the mega block sets released through 2012 but my wife wasn’t interested in their look being displayed in our house. (too childish for her liking) I love them and enjoyed building them. She thought the look of the statues and threea collectibles fit the type of display she wanted for our house. So I pretty much limit my collecting to high end collectibles. Just wanted to see if others were in a similar situation.

It actually is up for preorder early. They go quick if anyone else was interested. I just secured my preorder. Their figs are top notch with lights and a level of detail not seen with many Halo figs, not to mention 1/6 scale. My bad if I led anyone astray with posting it would be available for preorder 11/20. Everything I had seen/read indicated such. Get it while you still can!

I have all the new sets, the RC Mantis and the Master Chief Collection at every toy store I have gone to so far…

I just got my NECA eighteen-inch Master Chief today and, if you all would be interested to read them, I would like to come back later and post my thoughts on it. I would right now but I’m kind of pressed for time at this moment. Keep an eye on this space if interested.
