I thought Cryo Chief was a stand alone release like the Knight. But the Grunt is probably the best figure in the Halo 4 series 1 line, out of the ones I have. I don’t have the Zealot to compare, but I do have others from series 1 and they all fall short of the attention and detail.
And when is ThreeA gonna release that Cortana figure? 
The one they mentioned /ages/ ago…someday I hope.

Yeah, I agree. They still sell some Zealots and Storm Grunt nearby. They all have spectacular paint detailing. I dunno about the ThreeA thing. I haven’t seen any news about it.
I’m jealous. I can’t find ANY Halo 4 series 1 toys here for my life. Let alone the Zealot. Those all sold out super fast.

True that. I find them in my local Kroger family store, Fred Meyer. They’re sold out everywhere else, though. I might be able to pick up one or two for you, if you want. 
Mega Bloks has release a new website for their Halo line and a video about making Halo toys over the last 5 years.
Been looking at Mega Bloks sets, and the Hornet has been bugging me for a while now. Why does it have some weird Mini/Gatling gun on the nose of the ship? That’s not on the Hornet, it’s Machine guns are located in the wings and the missiles are located on the bottom of the ship. Where did they get that idea from, and why do they keep doing it instead of fixing it?
Other than that, I might have to buy a set or two since their pieces and design far outdo my own ability to make Halo vehicles and bases out of my limited mix-mash Lego stash.

The Mega Bloks Hornets are based on the Halo Wars design which has some mirror differences from the Halo 3 design.

Trust me. Buy them. Unless you get a really old (2009) set, or a defective one, which can be fixed by exchanging it or ordering replacements via their Request Center online, you will enjoy it profusely. I have over 150 sets. Believe me. I know.

The new website looks really cool. It does make me wonder though. Is there going to be another animation contest this year? I want to be ready for it this time around.
…And wasn’t 343i supposed to show the winners’ animations on Waypoint or something like that? I haven’t seen them up yet, and I’m sure it was one of the prizes. :I

The prize from past years are usually the whole fall line (now, they’re adding a signature series set on top of that), editing software kits, and a laptop. I’m not sure what are going to be prizes this years but lets hope they’re big.

I have over 50 Mcfarlane Reach figures. I recently made a custom Haunted Helmet out of the Headhunter skull from the Objective pack and the Pilot helmet from the three pack with the ODST and two zombie Spartans. It turned out great, probubly my new favorite figure.

I have updated my Halo Mega Bloks Figure List to include pictures. Some are unclear, though. ThreeA hasn’t announced a Cortana figure and it is most unlikely they will release one. But they revealed Master Chief and Emile at San Diego Comic-Con. And super excited to get them both.
Anyway, the Cortana figure you are talking about will be coming from Sideshow Collectibles. And she isn’t a figure, she will be a statue of the Premium format series. Unfortunately I have bad news about it. She is put on hold at the moment. I guess they aren’t happy with the pre-orders of PF Anniversary Master Chief…
