I’ve got some BREAKING NEWS! Well, more or less. For those of you wondering exactly which Spring sets will be rereleased in the fall, and whether they’ll come with new figures or not, read this post from Tim on SpartanBloks:

Out of curiosity, are there any in Steel as of yet? I haven’t been as caught up as I used to be.

So far, I believe there will be one in red, one in yellow, one in Flood Green, and one in Orange. I wouldn’t worry too much. There’ll likely be some sort of steel or black color sometime soon in the future.
I was just in a Target store just recently and saw a megablocks pack containing the new Scout mold. I’m kind of kicking myself for not picking it up … but my hang up was the figure was orange.
Any word if another color besides orange will be released. (excluding Palmers armor as well.)

Orange? You must mean the rust red color. It’s not really orange, at least, not by Mega’s standards. I think there’ll be other Scout figures released in the Fall. I know for a fact that a Green one with new articulation will be released in the Alpha Series Blind Packs coming out this fall.

You are correct, I did mean rust. I was suffering from a brain fart and couldn’t recall it for some reason.
A green Scout in the blind packs eh? Might have to try my luck at getting my hands on one. Hopefully it comes with an accessory that is easy to feel through the wrapper. =)

Hey, while I’m here, does anyone know if there is a way to get replacement pieces for a Mega Bloks set? My daughter got her little hands on my Warthog and knocked it off the table snapping the chain gun barrel off of the rest of the gun. Aside from that the rest of the set is fine. But I don’t want to but a whole new set just for that one piece.
edit Looks like they will be releasing a Fireteam pack that contains a Gungnir and Scout figure in a camo green coloring.
I got my first few MB sets in a long time. I got the Gauss Hog and a Watcher and a Storm Elite.
I think it is a cool set. The vehicle itself is nice and its build was enjoyable. I mainly bought it for the Knight and I think he is very cool. I also like the fact that the Spartans have realistic colors on their armor.
My only complaints are the difficulty of putting the suspension together and that the Lancer does not come with a weapon they actually use.
I know this review is not much but I thought it would not hurt to share my thoughts.

There most certainly is a way to get replacement pieces. Just go here and fill out the form.
@wolfeboy1: Nice haul. I, too, love the Gausshog, as it’s the first to show Reach’s and 4’s ridiculously large turret. Also, the Knight Lancer and the Spartan figures are really cool. The Lancer would’ve been nice if it’d come with a Binary Rifle or a Light Rifle, but, if I remember correctly, there is a mission or two in Spartan Ops where the Lancer actually uses the Suppressor.
I decided to hold off on picking up the Flood Hunters Battle Unit for now. As much as I would like to get the Steel colored Scout I don’t care for anything else in the set. No sense paying for something I don’t want right.
I may go out and look for the Spartan IV battle pack with the Rust colored Scout in it … or wait for the the Fireteam Venom pack to be released to get my Scout figure fix filled.

Nice! How much was it? I got three for $4 a piece off TRU.com…plus $8 shipping. -_-
On the bright side, it’s a very awesome figure and the only exclusive I own that wasn’t meant to be a retailed figure…I think.
I understand your viewpoint on the Flood Hunters Battle Unit. I got the set because I like Flood figures, but it’s not really that interesting if you only want the Scout.

This weekend I also stumbled across the Flood Hunters UNSC Falcon. Really wanted to pick that up. But the $71 price tag quickly squashed those thoughts.
Well that and figuring out what to do with it once its built. The Lego kid in me keeps screaming “GET IT! GET IT! GET IT! YOU LIKE HALO, I LIKE LEGOS … ITS A PERFECT MATCH!” But the adult side of me just smacks him in the head and reminds him that space is a premium, you have kids … and they will wreck it (unintentionally) the first chance they get near it.

Flood Hunters Falcon…I think it was worth $50 and no more. $71 is insane for that. And I get where you’re coming from on the space issue. I’ve got no where left to store stuff…except on my bed…which isn’t really somewhere I’d like to keep them…
And $6 plus free shipping is less than $12 including shipping that I payed.
Well, it been a while since I posted here. I have gotten some new Mega Bloks sets into my collection in the past month and I figure to give some of my thought about them.
First up, the Rhino. I got this set for myself as a birthday gift a while ago and I was very pleased about this one. For I’m a big fan of the Halo Wars vehicles and I’m happy to have one of the two Wars vehicles I didn’t have in my collection now. Thought I only have two problem with the set when I was putting it together. One was missing parts and the other were the decal stickers were warped and didn’t stick on to the set. I had to order to them but I’m happy now to finally have decals that don’t peel off the set now. But it kind of sucked to wait two weeks to get the things I needed to finish the set. But overall I really enjoyed it and I’m happy to finally have all of the main line 2012 sets now.
The second set I got was the Covenant Ghost. Pretty happy now that Mega has now made a single Covenant vehicle set again. The Ghost itself is the most game accurate version to date with it having a more detailed back seat and darker purple color. The figures are nicely done but I wish that the white elite zealot figure had more painted details outside of 4 purple lights on his helmet like the elite ultra from the first wraith and drop pod sets. But I’m happy to get my hand on another Ghost.
The third set I now have is the Spartan IV battle pack. Since I heard that this set will be re-released in the fall with some new figures, I decided to get this version when I had the chance. The figures are very well done but that is to be expected with Mega. The new Imperial Grunt has a good mold and I’m glad to have a Halo 4 scout figure in my collection since I sadly missed out on the Pelican. Thought I have heard about some problems with the scout’s arm joints breaking off when moving them. Luckily, I have not experienced this problem but just be warned there is a possibility of that with others. The blue hologram Recruit Spartan had some really stiff joints at the arms and legs and felt like they going to break which thankfully didn’t happen.
The forth set set I got was the Offworld Cyclops. This is favorite Cyclops set so far. With the it colors, the rails on its shoulder, and the welding torch attachment it reminds of the Powerloader from the Aliens movies.
The fifth set I have is UNSC weapon pack 2. I really don’t have anthing to say about this one outside of I’m happy now that weapon skins have entered into the line and the new Halo 4 marine looks great.
The last two I got were the blue and silver metallic series ODST drop pods. I been looking for these one for awhile now and I’m very pleased with these two. The new metallic paint give the figure the look like they were made of die-cast and the World War 2 style shark teeth on the helmets look ba. If there one negative about these sets are the drop pods themselves. They lack of any painted details on the weapons or pods and the pods themselves are now just part of the packaging. I’m disappointed that the pods are also not buildable or are up to the quality of past pods. But to be fair, this line is more armed at the figure then the pods or weapons which is OK but I kind of wished for more.
I agree about the drop pods. I feel that they could have done more with them instead of just using them as a package. Maybe a seat and a few pieces that snapped into the back of the shell to hold the trooper, back pack and weapon in place. Oh well.
That exclusive Spartan arrived today. Its pretty amazing if I say so my self.
I already had two Halo 4 Spartans in green with the gold visor, but the Steel one with the green visor is pretty sharp. Very glad I picked it up.
I’ve been eyeing the new Pelican lately. I know I don’t have any room for it anywhere … and my wife would have kittens if I picked it up, but ^$@@&#! its really impressive looking!
I hauled a few blue metallic ODSTs and ghost recently.
The sets are awesome and worth the pricing.
Also the Combat Unit has some great attention to details.
