Now in the wake of the New York Toy Fair, the Wall Street Journal has posted a little overview of all the Mega Bloks lines. In their Halo section their was a mention of one of the new set for Fall 2014: the UNSC RC Attack Mantis which features a wireless remote control weapons system with multiple rocket launchers.

I guess now we kind of have an idea of what Mega is planing with their main line sets. To me it sounds like the next step up from lights & sounds sets from last. The RC idea reminds of the old miniature props of the old kaiju and Sci-Fi movies of the older days. Hopefully we’ll have pictures of this sets and hear about the rest of the 2014 line sometime soon.

Speaking of Waypoint’s Twitter, they also also pictures of a McFarlane Halo Xbox One Master Chief and the RC Mega Bloks Mantis with some other Fall 2014 the background.

I kind find it funny the RC Mantis controller is the Xbox One controller with some studs on it. Also the picture highlights a Police Cyclops with a riot shield, a Broadsword, a fully upgraded Halo Wars Elephant, and a New Mombasa police car. Also in the background next to the Micro Fleet Mantis, you can see a Didact and Halo 4 Contana figure. I can say about this that I’m very impressed of what Mega Bloks is doing with this year’s sets and I can’t wait to see more of what they have in store.

Mega Bloks UNSC Elephant Troop Carrier

Waypoint also released on Twitter a close up picture of the new Halo 4 Master Chief, Cortana, and Didact figures. For the looks of the box behinds them, it looks like these figures will be a part of the Broadsword set. Also the box says that the Chief will more poseable as part of Mega Bloks new complete redesign of all their figures and could mix & munch the armors pieces like in multiplayer.

Just out of curiousity...who here asked for a Scarab?

There’s a link up there somewhere. Find it! >:D

Oh, by the way…Prophet…and Halo 2 Brute Honor Guards: here

Bandai has released pictures of their Series 2 Commander Sarah Palmer prototype and Series 3 Master Chief SprüKit prototypes.

I’m the only one who finds it awesome that the company that has been making Godzilla toys for over tens years is now making Halo toys. I used to collect Bandai’s Godzilla for years and planing to start back collecting their toys for the 2014 movie. Can’t wait to get my hands on those when they come out.

Waypoint has uploaded on their Twitter a picture of all three NMPD sets.

I’m loving that Cyclops and police car but I’m not too crazy about that Hornet.

Hehehe, clever, clever. That is it! Congratulations.

Now if I could get some money…

Hope you all enjoy the new sets that Mega Bloks has showed off at this year’s Toy Fair. Can’t wait to get my hands on some of these.

The Brick Show has posted a video about the new Signature Series Covenant Scarab. The video has some of the best closeups of the Scarab so far and they talk to one of the Mega Bloks guys about why they pick this to be the next Signature Series set and how they got GoodwillHunter (a fantastic custom builder and I highly recommend to check out his works) to help them design this set.

Nice to see that Mega is getting members of their community to help them out with the line. From the looks of the Scarab and the NMPD sets, I hope that Mega will continue working with the fans for years to come.

Waypoint’s Twitter has release pictures of NECA’s 18" Master Chief prototype.

I’m blown away by the amount of detail that NECA has in their 18" figures and this is no exception. The Chief looks gorgeous like the rest of NECA’s Pacific Rim 18" figures since their 18" Knifehead left me speechless because of how beautiful it was. With the huge attention detail and care that NECA is doing to Halo and Pacific Rim, I can’t wait to see what they will be doing with Godzilla when that embargo lifts in March.

Waypoint’s Twitter has also released pictures of Bandai’s SprüKit Series 2 Spartan Gabriel Thorne.

Love it that Bandai is making Halo toys now. I used to collected their Godzilla toys long before I got into collecting Halo Mega Bloks and plan to get back collecting their Godzilla toys when their 2014 movie toys in stores. For I strongly believe they’ll do great with Halo.

Waypoint’s Twiiter has release a pic of Kotobukiya’s Master Chief ArtFX Statue prototype.

Great to see Kotobukiya make a return back to Halo since the Halo 3 days. With their comeback aside, that statue looks awesome and can’t wait to see what the final product looks like.

Waypoint has released a galley of all of the 2014 Toy Fair.

It’s basically a collection of all of the pictures from Waypoint’s Twitter coverage but with with one or two new pictures thrown in. Hope you all enjoyed this year’s toy fair.

These new sets look awesome! That scarab prototype looks amazing. Just imagine how it’d take to animate though!

Also, is it just me, or do the minifigs look a bit different? As in, the way the arms and legs connect. Have they changed the design, or is it just my imagination?

The minifigures look different because Mega is trying a new mold which makes them more poseable and their armor interchangeable with other figures as well.

Yup. So far, it seems to only be used on UNSC figures, but I’m sure Covies will receive it in due time if it is accepted by the fans.

Really? Hmm, that sounds interesting! I hope it doesn’t do anything to the quality and sturdiness of the minifigs though. I don’t want them falling to pieces!
