I found a single CIO at Walgreens (the exclusive one). After I opened the package, I discovered, to my disappointment, that my figure could not hold his gun. I tried to get him to hold it but that only resulted in a piece of the DMR breaking off. As well as the hand being warped, I also discovered that his foot arch was a huge bulge that prevented proper orientation. I’m definitely getting a new one.

Well…

that’s NEVER fun. I’m sorry that your figure was defective. Quick note, though. He may not be able to actually hold the DMR normally. Just something to keep in mind. ;D

NECA announced that they are patterning up with 343 to make a new line of Halo merchandise. The line of products includes 1:4 scale action figures, mini figures, DOT-approved motorcycle helmets, prop replicas, board games, and HeroClix.

I love this news, NECA has already proved that they are great with their Pacific Rim line(which I love the kaiju figures) and I believe they will do the same thing with their Godzilla (which I will be heavily collecting when that comes out) and Halo lines.

The icing of the cake in this announcement was the prop replicas. I’m not sure if a lot of people remember this but back in the old Halo 3 days there was life-size laser tag guns of the Plasma rife, Plasma pistol, and a planed energy sword which was sadly canceled. For people who cos-play or making low budget movies like me, this is a match make in heaven. I hope this idea is explained upon outside weapons and into helmets and gear.

Nice to also see that HeroClix are making a come back as well since I used to collect them before Mega Bloks thrown their hat in the ring. I not worried about this how these will turn out because NECA also these for Pacific Rim and the figure in that line looked gorgeous. Great to see them return but I’m not going to be collecting them.

With all of this great news, I’m a bit worried about if this will effect other partnerships with McFarlane or Mega Bloks. I can see that McFarlane leaving due to their recent line being dropped from most big retailers. While I have little hope for McFarlane, I don’t see Mega Bloks being effected by this since I believe they are the biggest selling product that Halo has right now.

I wish NECA the best of luck with their Halo line and I can’t wait to see what they have in store.

Yeah. MEGA quickly went from something sidelined by McFarlane to something that most non toy collectors know about, too. :stuck_out_tongue:

It’ll be interesting to see a brand new brand making Halo awesomenesses, though.

Commanderbacara198 has posted a review for the Argos exclusive Blue Series Falcon set which is also an UK only set as well.

Kind of sicks that it can only be found in the UK but I can live without it to be honest. I do like that coloring of it, kind of has a police like vibe to it. I really hope that Mega Bloks will give the Falcon a break because not only is there 3 sets of it now but 2 of them were released the same year.

Now with the last set of the 2013 line now out in stores, I wonder what Mega has in store for the 2014 line.

I’m not sure if I saw them in Canada recently…I’ll check again in the following weeks. I’m sure that I saw them some few months ago.

Mega Bloks has posted a poll on their Facebook about what should be the next Signature Series set.

The choices are Covenant Scarab, Covenant Cruiser, Covenant Spirit dropship, UNSC Infinity, Pillar of Autumn, and UNSC Firebase.

I really hope a Covenant set would win because there are way to much UNSC sets over the Covenant. My fingers are crossed for the Scarab or Spirit to win.

Giant crabs with WMDs powered by worms for the win? S:

Hey guys, does anyone know where I can Find the original Halo 1 or 2 action figures? I have been collecting for a few years now and my collection starts at Halo 3. Additionally, I am trying to sell/trade in order to acquire these figures.

All the figures I am looking for need to be in the box in order to retain value. Also I will not order from any sketchy sites.

If you guys are interested in buying pieces of my collection or helping me find the figures that I am looking for, please hit me up via PM

Sorry for the bad quality.

So I’ve had to postpone collecting temporarily. But my roommate is awesome and gave me a series 4 Halo Reach Jorge figure. First Halo Reach figure, and it’s my favorite Reach character  I really need shelves now.

Nice! That sounds awesome. Hope you enjoy it!

@everyone: Sorry I haven’t been on. Every time I try to sign in on my normal computer, I get a security certificate error…which I don’t get on the computer that I almost NEVER use. sigh No idea how to fix it, either…

The Halo: Reach line is probably the best looking line in my opinion. Thats why it dominates a solid 70% of my collection

I PM’d you FADE.

> I PM’d you FADE.

Thanks for the reply. However my PM inbox is not showing anything. I am going to start up a page on Amazon or something like that. And then I will put a link here.

First off, Micro-Fleet sounds a lot like Lego’s polybag sets. Definitely a step up from the Universe diecast line due to these being mini buildable sets which will be very cheap for collectors and not take up as much room. Also the collectible spartan helmet sounds awesome and hopefully there will be some pictures of it sometime soon.

Series 8 figure packs is getting a downgrade from 20 to 8 figures and will have Promethean figures. I personally like that because the 20 figures of Series 7 was way to much. With this downsize, I hope that Mega will go back to one figure pack a year. My area stop carrying figure packs when Series 5 was released because of how fast new series comes out before they order a new shipment. Hopefully this means I can finally get a whole series again.

Lastly, the UNSC Infinity Armor Bay. Nice to see Mega still doing suture based sets and getting armor skins into the line as well. Besides that, there is not a whole lot to say about this one.

Great to get some news of the spring 2014 sets and I hope to see these in stores something soon.

Mega You rock! That is, if you didn’t release it for this next year(I want to play the Xbox One DX first and foremost)

Philipve98 has post reviews of all four of the ODST metallic series sets.

I still not a fan of the drop pods themselves but the figures do make up for that. The metallic colors looks great, they remind me of the Jaegers from Pacific Rim. My favorite being the blue one for the Gispy Danger look of it. Also, love that World War 2 style teeth on their helmets.

Found CIO #1 at walgreens. Picked him up. There was also an elite ranger, but I did not have the money to get him.

The figure is well done. Paint is chipped, but in a realistic way. Only gripe is the DMR is bent.

Vanocean from Spartan Bloks has post pictures of the Micro-fleet sets.

Nice to finally see what these sets look like. Like it now that Mega is going with mini buildable sets since the diecast Universe line wasn’t what a lot Mega Blok fans were wanting. They also look a lot like the planet sets that Lego did with Star Wars. The Mark IV helmets look amazing and can’t wait to collect these.

Waypoint had released a behind the scenes video about the Halo 4 cover art Master Chief statue.

Sorry for the lack of updates lately, there is very little news I can find as of now. Hopefully this will change when the 2014 Toy Fair comes around.
