I feel a little timid about demanding to speak to a manager about holding some toys for me.(Much less going in the back/asking to go into the back LOL) I don’t know how compliant or nice people like that are in my area. Also the lurking stigma against women being into things like Halo to the point of requesting toys being held for them

Its not a demand, you are requesting them to put on hold. So dont feel timid. You are the customer, usually they will go out of their way to make you happy. It never hurts to try.
Got the Riptide Chief today, walked in the Walgreens and two boxes where there.

If it doesn’t work, the story goes with me walking into walgreens, searching the toy section for a while, found 2 MC stuffed in the back, bought one, and savoring him now.

Amazon had dropped the prices of the Pelican Gunship from $100 to $80 and Cauldron Clash from $45 to $36. Personally, I think the pelican is now at a little bit more reasonable price and it’s nice to get the Cauldron Clash set for cheap.

Waypoint has posted some of size comparison between the Series 2 Master Chief and Didact figures and screen shots of their in-game content. The only thing I could say: That Didact is -Yoinking!- huge!!! It’s about the same size of my Final Wars: Godzilla figure!!

Right now they are at walgreens but it seems like a trickle. Soon these things are going to be in a lot of stores. The front page has info on where there are going to be sold.
Youre a female, big whoop, you are a person doing something they enjoy, i say this because you used the word timid, whether it be for the codez or the figure or both. Remember these are people too, a lot of them gamers, collectors, and even the adults working there. All of them will melt in your hands if you show them a joking kindness.

I still haven’t checked mine, yet, so I, unfortunately, don’t know if they’ve arrived here yet. Sorry.
I get your pain though. I absolutely HATE asking people about stuff I’m looking for, because, at least at Walmart, they’re too lazy to do anything about it.

As far as what? Price? Or purchase? There used to a magazine called Toyfare, and they had a website where you could enter all your collectables and it had real time value tracking, then one day it disappeared. I wish it was still going.
