So being a noob l honestly missed the fact that this button was in the menu screen during play but can someone tell me the reason for it? If you need to quit a game it should not be convenient.
What are the reasons you would want to quit;
- Something popped up and you want to stop playing.
- You’re getting crushed.
In either scenario you should have to exit out of the game because in 1. you’re not going to play anyway or in 2. you’re a pansy and should get some sort of a punishment.
Just my opinion not sure if it’s been brought up, but obviously quitters suck.

There is a ban system in place to deal with those who misbehave. If you want details you can click on the ban thread link in my signature. There is also a CSR drop in ranked play.
Then people would just quit the game from the home screen or stay in the game just standing there giving free kills to the other team until kicked out. So either way nothing really is solved.

Or people would just avoid ranked althogether.
My company has been playing a lot of BTB recently and something needs to be done. We are constantly running into situations were over half the other team leaves the game. This results in the last 2 or 3 guys just getting dominated as this usually happens in slayer. In CTF and Strongholds we of course quickly try to end the game because we know this is not fun for the other team that is left.

Nope, not until a Google search at least, I just see that Orion II map and just think, oh boy here we go again. But then again I’ve basically been Clockwork Oranging (think when they pried his eyes open) Halo 5 for the past two weeks.

Whilst being an inconvenience you can not simply punish someone for “something popped up” I’ve had to leave a match due to my dog having a seizure (not that I cared for the 10 minute ban while taking care / hanging out with my dog), try to find out if I “Rage quit” or just had to leave for some reason or even disconnecting ya know?
The only thing I can think of is if you’re losing and you leave you get a temp ban, literally the only thing. I’m open to suggestions.
