Seriously Military People are a pretty close-knit group, who are cocky as hell with each-other and would honestly do this kind of thing constantly
Sure these are Spartan IVs and it’s totally in character and fits the story…but I just hate it. I think it’s lame as hell. I’d love it if they did away with it, but it’s a minor gripe, really.

I was guildmates with an Army Reservist who was stationed overseas. Told me a story about how he went to the latrine once and saw carved into the stall a question “Can you get a Purple Heart for taking a bloody power piss?” Then there are the numerous stories I’ve heard from people about their experiences in basic. And various pictures from troops on deployment that look like guys at a frathouse party just with fatigues instead of Aeropostal.
So yes, I’m well aware that the brofives I’m seeing are actually closer to reality than any sort of generic noble or heroic looking pose would be.
I still eye roll and slightly cringe at said brofives anyways.

Thats teenagers who invented online tea bagging. Thats immaturity of the players; not the developers. And no its not like the endgame animations are even immature. They are just kinda lame…
And even tho I am against end game animations Something the i think would be cool of 343 to do is each spartan celebrates according to how well that player did. They could add an Easter egg celebration for a player who goes 20 kills and 0 deaths. That would make it more fun
I don’t see how these celebrations take away the experience from the game. Just because it doesn’t automatically go to the match recap so you can oogle at your l33t record and show everyone your kdr doesn’t mean that having a celebration is a bad thing. The celebration will be over in a few seconds and then you can forget it even happened.

Definitely… and this is only 1 of many reasons why I feel the same way.
I think that players should be able to customize how their Spartan reacts at the end of each game.
Here’s some examples:
- Fist-pound- Bro-Five- Air Guitar- Salute- Victory DanceThese are just some of the ones I can think of…
I Just hate how people constantly find something to -Yoink- about, its limited, be more open minded , let it go, embrace new things, you are way to used to what games like COD have given you, and therefore you wont let other games embrace some of that new stuff (even though IMO the new additions dont look anything like COD) there are games who actually have these “celebrations” end game animations, and the only thing i see is people just saying how awesome they are, check BLACKLIGHT RETRIBUTION and youll see what i mean.

why do people hate 343s endgame?
because they tried to be cool and ultimately fell flat.
If 343 skipped trying to be cool and went with funny it could have been accepted more easily.
Idk… But when i read that now i think; “these are Spartans they are supposed to be serious not being funny”.
