The custom levels in the playlist are buggy as hell I say burn them.that is all
Heresy!!!
You’d be hard pressed to find a better map than Shutout.
Just my opinion
I agree. I like the maps but they are way too buggy. Plagued by frame rate drops all the time. I like them I just can’t stand playing them
Shutout is awesome regardless of the playlist it’s in, LEAVE IT ALONE.
I’ve been posting everywhere about a Fix for that terrible remake. I’m half tempted to start making my own remake!
I agree, I really like Shutout, but it is a horrible map for SWAT. Just a bunch a DMR’s from tower to tower.

This, except I find more BR love than DMR love. Just goes to show te classics weren’t built with AA in mind. Any new versions would need to be remakes like solitary/prisoner or the battle creek remakes from CEA… Subtle changes that expand te playing field but don’t ruin what made the originals so special.
In my opinion Shutout is a great map for Swat, it’s Abandon, Complex, and Solace that need to be removed from Swat.
I don’t like Complex, but SWAT isn’t a bad gametype for it, so long as I remember to chose DMR, instead of my usual BR.
I didn’t play the original, but I kind of enjoy Shutout. I can figure out the angles, and often find myself getting pistol kills or CQC kills by moving around and catching the other players scoped in.
Touch shutout SWAT, and I won’t be playing SWAT anymore…
I will say the spawns need to be fixed. It doesn’t make sense that if I stand on BR 3 that nobody spawns below me. Spawntrapping is faaaaaaar to easy on Shutout.
Give us a spawn fix and MAKE SURE ALL THE JUMPS WORK.
Right now I can’t jump from Bottom Elbow to S2, or S1 to S2. I subsequently can’t jump from S-Bridge to S2.
If those jumps don’t work, then the map doesn’t play right because it turns Snipe tower into an impenetrable fortress very quickly.
The rest of the jumps appear to work as far as I’ve played.
Lockout is probably the most overrated map in Halo history. That said one of the few things it ever did well was SWAT and oddball.

Gaurdian and The Pit would like to speak with you…
But yes, it played very, very good oddball… Which it won’t anymore, because throwing.

I agree with ALL of this!! Add the Throwdown Variant (instead of “Shutout Snipers v1”) From what I’ve heard it has all the jumps including BottomMid-S2, Elbow-S2, and S1-S2. I’ll jump on Throwdown today and see if I can’t get the map to check all the jumps.

Good map? Yes. It’s a faithful re-creation of Lockout et al. And it would be great to play SWAT on.
If it weren’t so Gods-d*mned buggy.
I picked the map thinking it would be just as fun. What I got was “By Thor, this map is the glitchiest map possible.” And it’s not lag. It’s that it processes like crap. Every time I see “Rendering lighting” my heart sinks.
