There are alot of OP features in this game, most of them weapons, from the spray and pray AR, to the magnetic BR, and the point and kill Sniper and shoot anywhere to kill Rocket Launcher, its a bit ridiculous…
But the one thing that has to go is instant kills from behind.
How is this even acceptable? A melee from the front isn’t insta kill so why is one from the back? Its just a cheap shot to anyone not looking to get punched in the back.
Are you saying that a super soldier punching you in the spine leaves you crippled and lifeless? Please, this is a video game, not a movie.
This “feature” needs to be removed or I think we should seriously consider boycotting 343 from the gaming industry, it’s ruining Halo 5 and it’s ruining the entire industry, and we ourselves are ruining it by letting it continue.
So… remove Assassinations then? Because unlike those, beat downs have been in Halo since CE, and have never changed except for the addition of an optional Assassination Animation.
you are aware this has been in every halo ever. before it was considered assassinating before we got actual animation for it and they still leave it in. now you are just reaching for something to complain about cause thats the bandwagon support right now on the forums

They gave it a flashy animation to hide the fact that it was and is tearing apart the gaming industry. Everyone complains about microtransactions but those are far from as problematic as these cheap shots are.

Um… Yes. That is 100% plausible. Even with normal weak fleshy boring humans, a strong punch to the spine can result in spinal bruising, and has been known to result in temporary paralysis. (typically only a few hours to a few days though)
Also I’m assuming this is an April Fools prank as 1-hit kills via melee to the back has been a thing since CE.

then you are a lost cause…
so from my understanding of the lore of the armor is they are basically attached to the back of the skull which is how the spartans minds are able to control so much weight effortlessly. now you are telling me you dont think a super soldiers punch or elbow to the back where that neuroconnection is could severe it and cause the spartan to lose control of the suit in which gets crushed by 1000 lbs of weight.

You should live through assassinations! Let people do the animation but it shouldn’t actually kill you. Nobody likes to score points from cheap kills anyway, just look at CoD.
im guessing you have 0 map awareness and get killed form behind all the time. based of your arguements that is a cheap kill and what not. a cheap kill in COD is throwing a knife at someones foot and they die
