Get rid of armour abilities!

it just doesnt feel like halo!
only one maybe is jumper pack, not a jet pack but the thing where you push forward really quickly and yeah but thats it really, the rest dont make it like halo, please but back equipment pick ups with bubble shields and stuff but not armour abilities, makes the game, almost too complicated which halo isnt, halo 1, 2 and 3 were simple, always were and thats why they were the best, they lasted years and years with out having to bring out a new game so it clearly shows that they are the best and they need to take it back to being more simple, who else agrees and whats your opinions?

Define Halo before telling me that they aren’t Halo.

However, I will agree that Equipment is outright superior to Armor Abilities. They promote team work in a much better way (the Jetpack vs the Grav Lift) and they’re a one time use. The only problem with Equipment is that they seem to be ignored by players which removes most of their effect on gameplay. However, this can easily be fixed by increasing the amount of Equipment present on the map.

In all, I agree with you, but don’t say that Armor Abilities aren’t Halo.

im not good at explaining stuff but ill try my best, when i say halo i mean a gam that keeps simple but by doing that it stays effective, like i said in the original post, halo 1, 2 and 3 we’re all very simple games compared to most but yet they still kept up with Call of Duty, Battlefield, Assasins creed etc, compared to them halo is very simple or halo 1, 2 and 3 are, what 343 have done with halo 4 and bungie with reach infact is because they can add more stuff, they have, i mean fair enough there trying new stuff and it doesnt always work but armor abilities or armor mods, what ever you want to call them dont feel like halo, they make the game complicated and as your self said it makes the game more personal and if it helps you sort of game play where with equipment you would put it in a place where it would be most used (majority of the time), like with grav lifts especially on High ground, people always put it on the tower bit where the netting covers the roof to get up there, whether they meant to or not they helped the whole team, infact both teams as then other people use the same route, where with jet pack obviously only you can use it… and that was the problem with halo reach and 4 is it was every man for him self and yeah i just dont like that, thats why i play battlefield now, people seem to help more and stick together, im not saying make a copy of halo 3 but make it simpler, bring back equipment, add more different ones if they want but ones that can help the team and yeah among other things that is the main thing for me is i just cant get on with armor abilities for me, it doesnt feel like halo it makes the game way too complicated and halo shouldnt be complicated! hope that clears things up :stuck_out_tongue: and im glad im not on my own with this :stuck_out_tongue:

Armor abilities are just as Halo as Equipment from Halo 3. The only difference is AAs are person based, not a device you drop onto the ground armed, you spawn with them, and you can use them over and over and over, with a cool down.

Switch them to map spawn, and one use, and you got an upgraded version of Equipment.
