I’ve posted about this issue before, but now I’ve decided to create a poll. As you may have noticed in videos or by playing the game yourself, all gamertag instances are now CAPITALIZED. This is a problem for many players including myself who relied on the use of capitalization to make their gamertag “unique” or “their own”. Just look at my tag, it’s “PHONIX” spelled upside down using a lower-case “D”… Now here’s what 343 (bless their hearts) have done to it, “XINOHD”… GAMERTAG = RUINED lol ). Now, for those of you whose gamertags won’t be affected negatively, please consider the following quote taken from my previous thread on the same topic:

Now if you’re still not convinced to care to have 343 change this, then all I can do is sit at your feet and plead for your pity and mercy to vote “yes” and favorite this thread. …I’d rather not spend $10 to change my tag :’( and I really like it too. Let’s get 343 to fix this. Thanks!

I wouldn’t have noticed what your tag was supposed to be if you hadn’t explained it lol, it’s not very clear!
I think the caps is fine, it seems to be the “theme” of Halo 4.
I prefer to only have the I and R as upper case letters, but if that’s the theme throughout the game then there’s not much you can do about it. Doesn’t bother me but I agree it takes longer to read when it’s all upper case.
Caps look bad to me too. I find them better than seeing those gamer tags that are like xxxzepthehuskyxxx or something along those lines. Caps over X’s any day accept tuesdays
I still use this gamertag from when I was young and was in a ‘CoD clan’ - I know, I won’t even go there.
I can’t be bothered to spend money on changing it, so I’ve had it for years, despite how stupid it looks.
Wow at all the people voting “no”. Are you doing it just to spite the OP?
I voted yes, your GT should be just how you made it, no exceptions. Some of my friends who have substituted L’s for I’s are going to be pretty upset, there is really no good reason to have this, all it does is negatively impact a portion of the community. There is no real benefit to capitalizing the Gamer Tags.
I’d prefer most text to be ‘normal’ rather than all-caps, simply because I find it easier to read.
If they are going to go the all-caps route then it’d be nice if in the killfeed (or whatever it’s called) the gamertag’s of team mates were in green text and the gamertag’s of enemies were in red text.
