As some of you may have read in the latest Halo Bulletin some features not bieng brought over from bungie.net during the transition will include:
Nameplate’s
Reach API
Rendered films
But it will also affect your chances of getting Recon Armour aswell, BS Angel earlier confirmed over twitter that the ability to unlock recon throught the Bungie.net application button will not come over during the transition. At this time we dont know if 343 will fully unlock recon for everyone or if they keep it hidden never to be unlocked again.
Who ever hasn’t gotten those hard vidmasters should not get recon. It was meant to be a challenge and you cant say you didn’t have enough time now. The deal will be done you don’t deserve recon without the hard work.

For those who are buying Halo 3/ODST after March 31st?
Do they even make that game anymore? If people were to buy that game they would have already by now. There will be very little buying that game and they will be buying it used

Of course they don’t make it any more, although people still buy it.
Either way, I am waiting to see what they are going to do.
Not to make a point but because I have bills to pay first I barely have the money to keep my live going much less get the dlc needed for said armor or buy the missing games. I just now got Halo 3. And had to borrow odst off a 9 year old just to beat the story.

The only reason we all got the Chest Plate is because of a custom-code Bungie made & ran for Bungie Day, sadly it forced the Bungie Nameplate on everyone, regardless of your choice on Bungie.net.

I got mine from Bungie vs the World and played against Stosh and Shishka, easiest recon ever! Pax 2008!
look i played halo since long time ago and only on january 28 i got halo 3 odst it (2012) cause i felt it was time for some history and stop playing halo reach, cause i played halo reach so much.
I finally finished halo 3: 0dst vidmaster deja vu last night, i log onto Bungie.net to find that i can’t unlock recon anymore for my Halo 3, Wow i’m annoyed, does anyone know if there’s any way i can get it at all now or will i have to wait and see if 343 will give it to everyone, and it not count as me getting it legit?
