GET ON HALO 3!!!!

Everyone who is on halo reach, i encourage you strongly to get on halo 3. halo 3 is a way better game, the graphics are good, and requires skill to earn kills. This game needs your support in order to bring back its popularity. So get on halo 3 to help make it the experience it used to be!!

Are people going to be raging GET ON REACH when Halo4 comes out?

People are playing Halo 3. What are you talking about?

Its kinda ironic that you have to come to the Reach forum to get people to play 3, anyways good luck, I would try the Halo 3 forum.

20-30k on Halo 3 at peak times is good enough for me, the game is not dying and won’t be for a long time.

Basically it is a matter of opinion what game needs more skill. I may think that the: “Saw the enemy first: RT RT RT RT RT RT killed. Saw the enemy first RT RT RT RT RT RT RT killed” is less skillfull than the: “I saw the enemy first. RT wait a bit RT wait a bit RT …”. You may think the opposite…it is a matter of opinion!

subtract what you have there by 15-20 thousand.

lol exactly man, I play halo 3 a few times a month but I play reach every day.
When im on reach the population is roughly 50000-90000
and when im on halo 3 its 5000-10000
while 10000 is not as much as reach, its still so much I can find games with ease.

But @ the OP:
“earn kills with skill”
halo 3 is the most skillful game if you have host, if not, I’d rather be playing little big planet.
Without a host in halo 3 the BRs spread makes the bullets go anywhere and dont even think about using the carbine, it makes spamming the dmr feel precise.
Halo 3 is an awesome game that deserves major respect, that being said, its not better than reach and feels like it was made without online gameplay and online connections in mind.

lmao being able to hit your shots quickly is way more difficult then waiting 5 seconds and being able to hit someone. That logic is just ridiculous

Actually no

They would actually have to try to make halo 4 worse than reach, in my opinion.

Inb4 nopgobacktohalo 3

yeah I guess waiting 5 seconds is stupid, I guess thats why in reach you have to wait .2 seconds in between shots. That makes sense.
BTW, reach kill times are about 2.7 seconds.
I think 2 seconds (halo 3 under ideal conditions) however, just because halo 3 has good kill times does not make it a competitive, good game.
The br spread completely breaks online encounters.

Most likely.

Anyways, I do play 3 from time to time. But for the most part, I find myself playing Reach, CEA, and Wars as of late.

I got addicted to halo 3 the other ay. It is by far the best halo game. I think there was more people playing it than reach. That doesn’t mean reach is a bad game either. Reach is the best game out there besides the other halos.

well here is how it goes. Halo 3 came out and almost everyone had a great time and loved it, a few years later reach came out and the people who liked halo 3 were not impressed at Reach and its complete change to what made halo famous, but if halo 4 goes into a game similar to reach, the majority of halo players will be even more mad at another failed halo game but if halo 4 is similar to h2/3 then the majority of people would be happy but the people who liked reach the most won’t. And this will happen to every video game for halo and for every thing else ever made, it is almost a cycle of life

Eh, Halo 3 has some issues, same as Reach.

I prefer Reach at the moment, it’s impossible to find a match with good connection in H3.

Halo 3 is sadly dying. When Halo 4 comes out 3 will be put to rest as did Halo 2.

> Halo 3 is sadly dying. When Halo 4 comes out 3 will be put to rest as did Halo 2.

Nonsense. Halo 3 is nearly dead. It’s campaign died years ago. It’s multiplayer is the only thing that’s keeping it alive.

As for Halo 2, it was forcibly put to rest. It’s multiplayer may be dead but it’s campaign is still alive.

We cannot compare the potential full death of Halo 3 to the half deaths of Halo 2 and Halo 1, as those games still have campaigns that are playable. Halo 3 is half the experience because it lacks a long lasting campaign and when it’s dwindling multiplayer experience loses its light, Halo 3 is dead. I wasted precious hours on Halo 3’s campaign and I enjoyed very little of it.

I alternate between both reach and halo 3 for different game modes: Reach: custom games, anniversary multiplayer, Halo 3: Co-op campaign, forge, custom games/matchmaking. But Halo 3 over Reach anyday of the week.
