sorry if this is the wrong place to put this topic but I really need help.
i just bought a new router which is a Linksys Modle SE1500. I connected it with my PC and I have Internet and everything is fine but I can’t connect to Xbox Live like I used to be able to. I checked the settings and tested the connection and it will either say “Cannot resolve DNS” or it will say “cannot connect to DHCP”. I have no idea what these are and I am at a loss. Also, in the advanced settings where the IP is it keeps changing every 20 seconds or so and I’ll hear the Home Menu sound like it’s connected to Xbox Live but when I go to the Home Menu it’s not connected.
what should I do?

Yes, I’ve done a whole reset too. It says it cannot resolve the DNS
Have you tried taking it back to the store and getting a different router , I’m serious as routers are problematic , and one of the places I volunteered at in the past they received a few of them , and they work horribly.

No I haven’t yet, I was thinking about it. I want to get a router that will stay OPEN as well as be able to get me to Xbox live and Portforwording if nessesary. I don’t know which brand is the best.
I thought this would be a simple question, but nobody seems to know the answer. I have played all the way through to the end credits on Halo5. Now how in the heck do I get the game to start again from the beginning? I didn’t spend all that money to play the game only once!

Um you just go campaign then press the first mission
The Linksys SE1500 is a Ethernet switch? Your router will connect to the switch to rout it through the network.
What router do you have and where are you getting your internet from?

The router is the Linksyus, it’s plugged into my PC and my Internet Providers Modem.
