Ok, so with the new BO2 trailer has come several threads claiming “BO2 is Halo! or Future CoD! Or CoD ripping off of Halo!”
Please, have a seat. Class is in session.
First off class, it’s not even really the future. All that BO2 will be is a sort of Tom Clancy scenario.
We already have several of those unmanned vehicles in operation.

I can’t speak much for all the mechs but it isn’t a very difficult concept, just a rather inefficient one.
Basically all CoD is selling now is “Terminator Salvation” only less Skynet, more Taliban.
Its not very sci-fi, its still realistic. They just are trying to give their silly fanbase something different with more explosions without changing their engine at all.
Whereas Halo is actually trying to change things for us while remaining true to Halo’s core. What is Halo’s core changes with who you talk to.
One thing is certain, Halo must change. If Halo did not change, we would be no better than the CoD fanbase, and I know we hold ourselves in higher regard than that.
Take pride in the fact we can adapt and embrace change, whenever they are legitimately incapable of having anything differ from their old rotting engine.
Halo is the better game. Lets be the better fanbase.
You want Halo to beat CoD for sales? Support the game. Tell your friends. Mention it to strangers even. November 6th. Spread the word.
We can all help knock CoD off of its pedestal, but we have to try.

on the subject of the mechs, they don’t look interesting. The look real and bulky and ugly.
At least the cyclops has some style and grandeur.

I’ll be the first to say I cannot stand playing most Call of Duty games, but that’s just me, and I will admit it is a great game that has earned it’s place in mainstream media. On the other hand, I enjoy Halo greatly. Why not just say both are great? What’s wrong with that? You have the right to an opinion, but you should also understand that ignorance isn’t a good thing.

CoD was a good game. The fact that it has changed so little detracts greatly from its value.
Most CoD games these days are pretty near identical. Its clearly turned into a big moneymaker.
