Hey guys
Do you think I should buy a copy of Halo 2 and play it on my 360 or just hold out and hope for an anniversary edition?
If I did have Halo 2, that would complete my Halo collection.

Get Halo 2 for PC, and get the achievements! you would need Windows 7 and a good PC (and a few updates)
Halo 2 is a good buy. The only thing about playing it on the 360 is that you can only play campaign. If you want to do some matchmaking, then you would need the PC verison.
My computer is XP, not Vista, and I only really want to play the campaign anyway.
Yes definitely get it, my personal favorite campaign in the entire series.
Just keep in mind when you play it on your 360 it has an occasional screen tearing problem, but that’s easily remedied with a save and quit then just start up where you left off. A bit of an inconvenience, but the game is excellent.
I have 2 copies… You can never have to many copies of Halo 2. I’m thinking about buying another copy or two.

Play on easy or normal, the Halo 2 campaign can be rough in a couple spots.

Halo 2 is IMO far and away the best Halo campaign, so enjoy. There’s cutscene pop-in, but you get used to it (on 360). I never got to play MP, though. Anyways, play Normal, since Heroic is probably tougher than CE Legendary. Biggest advice: On Heroic or Legendary, NEVER stick you head around a corner too fast on Outskirts. NEVER!!!

Lol, I had an OS sniper shoot right through a corner and kill me more than once.

The most annoying thing about that game on Legendary is that you see your marine or grunt or elite allies take multiple beam rifle shots to the head, yet one shot to your left-foot pinkie toenail will kill you.
