Most the maps from launch are terribly boring and soulless (bar Warzone). They don’t appear artistically to serve any purpose but be arenas. Half the dev tools made maps are white, textureless, and curvaceous (which pretty much is the ENTIRE human pallet). The Rig is the only human map that stands out, and even so, it just looks like an arena with most walls being textureless. Half of the launch maps are just Forge, and again, they made these maps looks like arenas. I don’t know about you, but I think maps are supposed to be enjoyable to be in. I used to open customs by myself and run around maps, looking at all the intricate details that tell a story. H5’s maps lack these details (except for the two Covenant maps). So for the love of god, get Certain Affinity back because they know how to do what 343 doesn’t, which is make interesting maps.
