Get an XB1 Because MS cares for us

NOt only because of that but…they know Halo is an exclusive and people love Halo over many other games. But that isn’t the entire reason…let me shed some light on why MS first time caring has me hooked on hte XB1 while sony doesn’t give a damn.

long read so please hang in there Baby.

The reason sony had so many problems with the whole hacking thing and costumers losing money and accounts is because of their game downloading policies. WHat would happen is that anyone could download any game you had but you had to trust them enough for them to give them your password and for them to go to your account and download it into their PS3.( most people of course changed their account for safety reasons like a normal person would)Sounds a little risky right…yes it was and PS3 paid for it.

SO MS did the same thing with anyone being able to download any games from your ccount but their is a bit of a catch…they have to be on your friends list for more that a month and need your permission to do so. Amazing. so instead of giving away your account info you. SO MS took a great feature from Sony’s design and made it better in the way that no one has to be in any danger while they play their game that they downloaded from a…supposed friend.

The restrictions of trading and gaming are totally fair. What MS has done is leave it to the Developers to decide if you can sell their games. Now if you tell me that is really awesome because it gives the Devs what they want…to reguate their game even more now. With this new restrictions Dev won’t fell like their games(their babies) aren’t being ripped off from them when people buy a game than later give them away. AKA taking money away from the DEVs and other companies to make future games. People haven’t realized it yet but places like game stop but not entirely kill small games because people just don’t care about the like Halo, Killzone, Battlefield, Ratchet and Clank, Gears of War and Star wars games…they just don’t. So instead of those young games just being flung out hte window they made it so they can charge you if you sell their games. Otherwise why in the world would people even make games for MS if they know people won’t get it…that means they know they won;t get money. no money means no sequel and no sequel means even less money. All they are doing is making a Game Console more friendly to Indies and Small company Devs.

24 or shutdown…dear lord this one is the thing that i was like…WHAAAAAAAAAAAT but like i said after the info i gather and the thoughts that i got i see that it too is to protect the fans.

Lets say someone breaks into your house while you are gone and steals all of your games and your PS4 now they have a -Yoinking!- PS four and your games to do whatever they want with them…now the XB1 lololololo NOPE!

If they steal yout XB1 they must -Yoinking!- play it for ever day and if they forget they get logged out and they can’t get back in. If they try to pawn it they have to give hte login/change it and if they don’t do they most likley the people at the pawn shop will know…this MF stole this. SO they caould catch that -Yoink- right htere and maybe you could get your Xbox back.

It is made to hurt robbers and it seems like it would do well and we all know that it just doesn;t blow up if you don’t lay it every day and if you have a cable box you might as well be using it every day because well if you play games you watch tv if you watch TV your xbox is one and if your xbox is on until 10 or 11 at night than you have until 11 PM to turn it back on…so let say you watch the news regualrly…than you don’t have a problem. Lets say you have a favorite show…than you won’t ,iss out and lets say you forget to turn on your XB1 because your boss was a -Yoink- and you had to stay at work all night. NOt confirmed but you can activate it from your phones) THe real end is that well all you have to do is go home and reactivate ait and use your account passwords to sign you back in. Let MS know it is you on that console and not someone trying to rob or who has robbed you.

NOw that only problem with this 24 hour things is that in a lightning storm and your internet get s cut off you can’t play…Well lets face it if their is a lightning storm going on you don’t need to be playing your xbox. Also the new xbox isn’t made for those offline games it is made strictly for Online XBL gamers. MS doesn’t care if the non-target customer hates it they care for us…the XBL gamers. Another downside to this is that…lets say you go over to someone house like on vacation and well they have no internet. When you get home just do what i said above and you are clear.

If there is anything that i have missed that got you all RAGE like how i was please tell me and let me soothe your path. We are all Halo fans and we are all brother/sisters in arms here so please no raging or pain to one and another okay. We all need to ensure that Sony’s we don’t give a damn policies aren’t for modern gaming. They sound great of course but small businesses will die from their decisions like they have done over the past 17 years.

My brother supports MS and the Xb1 from his old days as being a small time DEV and wants his DEV pals and Gals to be free to make the games that he knows will blow crappy things like COD out of the water…we just have to give them a chance.

One last thing…,i was a little confused about that Halo Teaser…it said the final title will be released later…did they mean Halo 6 or were they talking about the Halo Xbox one. I just thought it was a video saying that halo would be on the XB1 and not just the 360 and will the graphics be greatly improved because that teaser still looked like the HAlo 4 cut scenes. So Will this be the first halo that didn’t get a graphics update. Please can i get an assist here…going to Play some Halo 4!

I’ve got a great internet connection and I’m not one to sell my games. I think a lot of the hate for Xbox One is unwarranted. But the gaming community likes to hate stuff to a psychotic degree for reasons that escape me.

Since when was it a crime to enjoy both ESPN and Halo? Xbox One seems like a logical purchase for me at least.

Now i forgot about the -Yoinking!- skynet in your room…but put a cloth over that…but if it has X-ray HELL NO MS! JUST NO!

I do agree with you and i will be getting an XB1 because better exclusives, i don’t trade games, I play everyday, i enjoy XBL and Halo and i have seen that Sony doesn’t care.

Just face it the other way, and it own’t have X-ray. You can be harmed by too much X-ray, so they wouldn’t do that.

The only real downside to the 24-hour only thingy is that there is a huge chunk of people that don’t have a (stable) internet connection, and the fact that you can’t take your Xbox to somewhere where there isn’t any internet. But then again, there are wifi hotspots almost everywhere and almost every hotel supports lan.

i just saw the update about the Kinetic and you don’t have to always have ti on…Good.

Only if I can take my Halo to my vacation house so I can play offline local multiplayer with my buddies there!

To all the people saying that they won’t be able to play if they take their X1 to a cabin in the woods;

You have sexually transmitted crazy mouth!

If I were going on some kind of holiday like that, I would rather spend my time in the woods, or spending time with whoever I was with.

Who goes on holiday and does exactly what they do at home?

And if it is really that bad, take your 360 and rock some classics.

here is a shocker, when I buy a game, that game is now my property. The same as if i bought a shovel, that shovel is no longer the property of the factory that made it.

If i want to take that shovel and sell it again the shovel factory has no right to tell me I cant or that I HAVE to sell my shovel in the shovel factories store.

The same can be said with a game, when I buy it it is mine to do with as I like, and microsoft is removing your rights to do what you want to do with YOUR property.

I’ll just sit back and wait for more information on the 24 hour thing before calling it a bad thing. It makes perfect sense to have that if you don’t need the game disk to play. Without internet it should just require the game disk for verification. Compromise by offering the games cheaper for digital downloads that would require a once a day internet verification and more for getting the disk and everything else that comes with a license key so that it can be played off line. Devs hate used game sales anyways. If the used game market gets killed look that direction.

You can’t make a digital copy of the shovel and distribute it to all of your friends free so that the company that made the shovel doesn’t get compensated for it. This DRM is because we are moving into the digital age farther and farther. Things like disks, cases, and paper are a thing of the past.

When you buy a game that case and physical disk is yours. The content on the disk is licensed to you. Therefore they do have the right to say sure, you can sell the disk but the content on it will not work and they will simply charge a license transfer fee.

This is nothing new people. It’s just the first we are seeing it in the console world in this digital age. It’s been like that for PC software for a long time now. You bought Windows 7 but can you install it any and every computer you want? The answer is NOPE.

The only thing I’m really worried about is what’d happen if Xbox live got hacked.
Would everyone’s console become useless 24 hours after the outage until the problem is fixed (which could lead to a month+ of a useless console) or will they have some other way to tell that you’re connecting your console to the internet.

The 24 hour connection thing… Would anyone buy a car if the manfacturers could then turn around and impose the condition on you that you must fill the tank once a day before you can drive it?

I also didn’t realise that the One will cost 30% more in the UK because Microsoft “care”.

That’s a relief. I’ll take two.

Just don´t like to be forced to use Kinect. That think sucks and i don´t use it. Costumers should have a word to sai about that, i want a Xbox One but without the Kinect sensor just because i don´t have any kind of use for it. Simple as that, and the price can decline 100$

It feels less like i’m buying a console, and more that i’m borrowing it from one of THOSE friends who’s always laying restrictions and limits to things you borrow from him, and threatening to take it back if you don’t listen to him.

None of the restrictions will affect me whatsoever. But they are kind of ridiculous to say the least, especially since sony will have none of them. The worst is the price point. $499 for the base model was a bad choice. I do NOT want kinect, I want to use my own storage, etc. Do not force me to pay for stuff I do not need. They are going to need to lower the price. I know I will not be buying at release. I will not buy this system until Halo is released and thats the only reason I will buy. Otherwise I would get PS4.

Your right Microsoft does care.

> Your right Microsoft does care.

How many people playing Halo 4 and that are on here don’t have internet access that their 360 is currently connected to?

Might want to recheck that. Sony is leaving the DRM thing to the developers. To say that PS4 doesn’t have DRM at all is just plain wrong.

I can assure you that Microsoft doesn’t give a damn about you or your family. They just want your money and they’ve pushed our boundaries way too much this time.

> I can assure you that Microsoft doesn’t give a damn about you or your family. They just want your money and they’ve pushed our boundaries way too much this time.

Show me a company that doesn’t care about making money and I’ll show you bankruptcy court. Lets not be over dramatic here. Do they care about you and your family? No and why should they?

I always buy used games for cheap off of amazon and ebay because you get much better deals than gamestop which rip you off. I also have sold a few games on ebay. With the xbox one this will not be possible any more. These stupid restrictions they have on the Xbox One are complete bs.

Halo was one of the main reasons I’ve stuck with xbox. Halo seems to be getting worse with each new game though imo. Halo 4 being the worst. So as of right now I see no good reason to get an Xbox One over a PS4.

I’ve always been a fan of xbox over playstation but I think it’s time to switch over to Playstation now for the next gen. The Ps4 is $100 cheaper and has no bs restrictions.
