As I stated above get a drink or go toilet or make sure you will be able to sit down for a long time cause this is gonna discuss everything people are saying is good , bad , my opinion and some ideas I had.
So here we go…
Halo 4 : Where to begin , The best selling Halo . A Fact . 343i’s first game as a studio and The start of The Reclaimer Trilogy.
Now I go on these forums alot and see alot of Hate posts. I’m gonna address here most of the reasons people are saying as well as my opinion .
The Guns - I’m hearing Alot the DMR is overpowered and the other guns need a Nerf or this needs a Buff. To me this gun need’s a nerf. Halo has always taken alot of shot’s to kill someone and that’s what made it special , what made it stand out. Buffing the other guns will only increase death times and result in Halo taking less shot’s. Which in most people#s opinion i believe would suck. The Boltshot is overpowered to alot I see and I agree. I have a strategy on how to make these problems go away. Reduce the rate of fire on The DMR , its kill time is way to quick compared to the other guns and it overpower’s them even when the DMR is not in it’s ideal range. Lower the bullet magnetism to, This gun has way to much bullet magnetism to as can be seen here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWaDwsGb1c0
I believe doing this will make it less overpowered and it should fit in perfectly with the other guns. Secondly the Boltshot . It currently has more range then the shotgun and scattershot and is the only starting gun that can kill in one shot (if charged) . I propose make it one charge per mag, lower the range to below shotgun and scattershot and that should be it. No longer should it be overpowered or such a nuisance to people.
Classes- Many people hate the class system and it’s not Halo or what it used to be. I have been playing since Halo CE and dont like it either but we have to take in to accounts the fact people do like it aswell . It’s not a one way thing .
This can be solved by having 2 playlists a Classic / Infinity. Halo with no classes and Halo with classes/ same goes for ordinance drops.
Ordinance drops have completely ruined the game for some people me included but most people agree their ok in a casual match which is something this game lacks a casual and competitive playlist at the moment. But we are getting a competitive playlist soon so no more need’s to be said about the Ordinance drops. They create to much randomness which is fine in a casual setting but not for competitive.
Perk like advantage’s and AA . Something new to halo , AA’s have been with us since Reach replacing equipment and The ‘perks’ (no other name for them ) have just started in this game. These 2 are more thing#s which people hate and people love (although I never see people say they love these there will be people though ) Again these are things that work well within a fun and casual setting and not well competitively. 343i’s has addressed this though I believe with the update coming soon.
Vehicle;s . It’s a lie to say vehicle’s are still fun unless you enjoy being blown up everything time you try killing someone. The vehicle’s are not the problem though its the plasma pistol and plasma grenades/ Yes the vehicles could do with a armour upgrade maybe but Plasma pistols and grenades to spawn with are incompatible in BTB and make it no more fun . I suggest making The plasma grenades and plasma pistol a ordinance drop only as this would balance it out.
No UNSC Aircraft is here either which is a disappointment / I’, trying not to nit-pick here but I loved Halo for its vehicle play to and the lack of any UNSC Aircraft makes for stale banshee gun fights/
Maps - Not much to say here loads of complaints and I did agree at first but we have forged maps being implanted soon and the Majestic map pack is supposedly going to have small maps.
Playlist- Common ground with alot of people here. The lack of playlist’s is frustrating but can be easily fixed. Multi-team and favourites like action sack are completely gone at the moment. Bringing these back can only improve gameplay as if people dont like a certain playlist they dont have to play it/
Custom Games - Already a Post with alot of replys and a official response from BS Angel / If you want to read it Look For : Custom Games Options Are Unacceptable 343
Forge - Many people hating it to / maybe a forge world 2.0 in the future? There have bee some downgrades in Forge and not alot of stuff has been introduced.
Spartan Ops - As much as I’ve heard it’s getting better but many people like me prefer firefight. Maybe this can come back with a update or in the next Halo/Surely this has to make a return many people miss it and there is a gaping hole in the menu where it should be.
CSR- Been anounced but sparked off alot of hate as it’s only on waypoint. I’m with the hater’s here 343 why make it only waypoint. Alot less effective here and no point having it as people cant see how good people are within the game. The lack of it being in the game will cause trouble in the future .
The TU - coming out next month alot of people looking forward to it , me included. Should make the game more balanced. Only benefits can come from it??
Theatre - No longer can you watch campaign / spartan ops in the theatre and it’s been confirmed on Twitter they dont plan on making it come back. Dont see the point of this it cant be that hard to include it in campaign and spartan ops. Why so quick to deny it 343?

Bring Back Some UNSC Aircraft

Firefight maybe as a DLC or in the future of Halo
Some Halo wars vehicles would be cool to maybe the locust of Halo wars to rival the mantis .
A Halo DLC map pack with updates of classic maps from past Halo’s like The Pit , Terminal , Ice Fields etc.
Some Bots for Custom games/ forge would be amazing
Custom game search based on map / game mode. No Xp no stats recorded Etc.
I was Thinking maybe a new unsc gun to a 2-shot gun that’s inbetween the BR and DMR. I know it might not work though just a idea.
A new playlist with only halo ce pistols as guns. Would be a bit of fun and spark a bit of nostalgia.
