Disney doesn’t want his ideas. Bring him to Halo! He could go more in depth with ONI vs UNSC conflict with internal conflict growing. Or just let him write a halo movie. He lost it with his latest works. Yeah he was good at a time but his time is clearly over. I wouldn’t want him near halo.
Yeah sorry no. Literally the only scenes I enjoyed from those movies were the Obi Wan/Darth Maul scene, the Clone Troopers rescue scene, and the Starfighter scene. The dialogue sucked, the acting sucked, the script was awful.
As terrible as 343 is, there is no reason to bring in the man who ruined Star Wars for billions of people to do the same thing for Halo.
The actual story of Episodes 1 to 3 is pretty good, it was just poorly directed. Which is why both the comics and novelizations are superior to the movies, since the script was reworked by a competent editor - just like any script should be. cough H5G cough
Although I really don’t get what business he has with Halo. The man writes Science Fantasy, not Military Science Fiction…
I thought episodes 1-3 where better from a story, acting & overall quality standpoint than episodes 4-6, which are grossly overrated.
However, I don’t think he would be the best bet for the Halo franchise.

I would rather Lucas not be involved with halo but people need stop complaining all the time about Lucas himself. I don’t like E 1-3 either but he created -Yoinking!- star wars and wrote it so people should give him some respect.
