Genesis warzone map?

I realize that we have a warzone map for all the worlds that we visited in the campaing exept genesis.
For example:
March on Stombrake= Kamchatka
Skrimish at Darkstar= Meridian
Attack on Sanctum= Sanghelios
So my doubt is, we will have a Genesis warzone map? What do you think? Do you want a Genesis map?

That would be cool, I would want to see an asymmetrical map for it however.

Cool concept, however I question how it would satisfy the lore aspect of multiplayer. Remember, all multiplayer maps and modes are canon now, and if Genesis was found just before the whole Cortana EMP, then I doubt they’d have time to implement it and run it. Then again, we have Xubie as a multiplayer voice announcer and she’s (supposedly) on Sangheilios with everyone else, so I suppose it could work if it was waived for that reason.

I like the idea it would be really cool to have a map on genesis

But locke could have some recognition report.

When would he have delivered it to Infinity? Certainly not before the ending to Halo 5, and considering maps like that would likely take a while to build and make fully operational in-universe, I don’t think they could make it and still fit within the time-frame of the lore events to be justified. But then again, Exuberant is a voice announcer…

I think the argument could be that Blue Team and Osiris sent over a report to Infinity about Genesis with helmet cam footage and the instructions to start training people to be ready to find it and set up shop if they need to. Then they could try and recreate something similar in their simulation.

The argument could also be that Blue and Osiris can’t send transmissions to Infinity in fear of getting themselves or Infinity (or both) revealed to Cortana. Another one is, yet again, how long it would take to recreate something like that if they did get it, something which I’m sure takes a while in that simulation. I could go on, but these are just examples.

Don’t get me wrong, I like the idea, I just think there’s too many lore reasons against it right now. Maybe someone could come up with something that goes over my thinking and makes sense.

You know what would be really cool? If this “Genesis map” was a dev-made BTB map, that also doubled over as a Warzone map (if you wanted to play it that way, of course)…

If we can’t get a Warzone map based on Genesis, then we can most certainly get a Warzone map based on Requiem, right? Besides, aren’t the two shield worlds essentially the same?

I would rather have the Battle of sunaion as another map.

Good call, we will have to see where H6 picks up

Isn’t all of Halo 5’s multiplayer just simulated in a war games simulator aboard Infinity? I don’t think that they are doing multiplayer lore like that.

On topic though I’d love to see a new WZ map. Before they stop putting out major updates of course.

Some of the maps that we come across in Halo 4 and Halo 5 are based directly on other in-universe locations, an example in Halo 4 being the map Landfall (being set on the planet Tribute) and an example in Halo 5 being the map Truth (which is set in orbit over Installation 04). While the multiplayer is indeed a simulation, the maps being played are based on actual locations in the Halo Universe. Thus, the ones who design the maps likely need to have a knowledge of what the map is based on, and for various lore reasons and events that I’ve already listed I doubt they would be able to recieve them in time to make a map that still fits within the time-frame of Halo 5’s events.

I’d be in favor of it. I’m sure they could find a way to squeeze it into the lore somehow.

An Arena map like this would be dope… tricky to design maybe, actually probably not all that tricky, but definitely unique and that’s something H5 needs more of. UNIQUE experiences…

I’m waiting for a map on Genesis for a long time. There are plenty ways to explore that environment with the fractal plants and forerruner structures. 343 really has material to make cool maps, but somehow they prefer to recycle maps with the white UNSC bases.

The lore should never restrict matchmaking. A genesis map would be awesome but if the only thing holding them back is lore then it’s stupid. You shouldn’t have to bend over backwards to make the lore fit into the multiplayer when it shouldn’t even be lore in the first place. Especially when they have no problem letting a grunt commentate matches.

Isnt apex that version

BTB, WZ or WZA, whichever or all, a Genesis map would be a great addition to H5.
