We have to make everybody feel special. Thats why theres a medal for everything and everyone gets EXP. Just one big happy family.
Medals are what provide fodder to your ordinance drops, so every kills has to give you at least one medal. That’s why it exists.

Everyone thinks they’ve achieved some transcendent idea that medals are there to make everyone feel good about themselves. Medals are what allow you receive ordinance drops. What this means is that if the ‘generic kill’ medal wasn’t there, you wouldn’t receive any points towards your next ordinance if you killed someone with an Assault Rifle or SAW, for example.
And the Medal points are cumulative, so while a Double Kill is worth +5, and a Generic Kill is +10, when you get a Double Kill, you’re going to get 15 points.
I understand that. That’s not my point. They changed the whole meaning of a medal.
And you still can’t tell why some of the most important medals aren’t there anymore.
Plus, they really all look the same… Black, blue, white. Bland.
