This gamemode from Firefight seems to be left out quite often when we play this co-op feature in Reach. But, if anyone has played the Beta years ago, you’d remember “Network Test One,” a playlist in Beta MM to test Firefight for online play.

It worked like a multiplayer game, though was built a Firefight gamemode, and because of this it returned to Firefight when Reach shipped.

With Firefight being ditched for Spartan Ops in Halo 4, why not add another gamemode to Matchmaking. GD was quite a fun gamemode IMO, and I was a little disappointed when it only reappeared as a Firefight gametype. It complimented Invasion in the Spartan v. Elite side of MM as well as the new batch of gamemodes added to Reach.

Who else think it returns?

A variation of this gametype would be kind of cool. I’m not so sure I like the actual defending of generators, but a “defend the castle” type gametype would be sweet.

I don’t want them to have thier own gametype, but I’d like to see them incorperated within invasion and assult.

I loved this mode so much in the beta–great fun even with just a few friends. I certainly hope it returns, with extensive forging potential :slight_smile:
