I’ll be the first person to say that I was right there in the mob with my torch and pitchfork last night, but now that I’ve had time to calm down, I can see that things are getting out of hand. Everyone is just spitting venom at 343i, and anyone who doesn’t hate what we’ve heard about H4. It’s ridiculous. How can you feign surprise that 343i never comes into it’s own forums, when this is how you treat each other? Never mind how you’d tear them to pieces and stick their heads on pikes.

The forums are just a wasteland, devoid of any meaningful discussion at this point, I think we could use a thread where the people who like what we’ve read (or the folks like me, who’ve simmered down and have decided to wait for more information before flying a plane into anyone’s house) can talk about the new information without (hopefully) being trolled into oblivion.

So, what are you guys looking forward to, or are optimistic about? Myself, I’d have to say Spartan-Ops (as long as they change the name <.<) is what I’m, dare I say, excited about hearing more on.

If you’re still in the “ANGER!” state over everything - that’s fine. Most of us were (if not are, at this moment) there, too. You have your threads, please let us have our own. The forum is big enough for us all to coexist.

I know how you feel. I’m uneasy at best, about the rest of it. Regardless, I’ve resigned myself to hoping for the best. There’s nothing we can do about it, might as well (try to) enjoy the ride.

To be honest… Nothing; Ill admit SPARTAN OPS sounds interesting but their has to be some sort of catch to it; until then ill decide whther it was a worthy trade off for FF

I loved that weapon to death (in campaign). Also, what in hell is that “assault carbine” mentioned in the same section? Could it be the same human carbine that appeared in Halo Glasslands? How do you think it would work?

Out of the lot I’m “happy” about the Spartan Ops (Whatever the hell that is), otherwise, I’m really unhappy with what I saw and read, I feel the more information 343 releases, the less I want the game, and the more I want Halo to have ended at Halo 3.
