Okay so after playing Halo 5 since release i have come to the conclusion that this game has its flaws -naturally- now my only complaint is the battler rifle,magnum and the gravity hammer i personally really like these weapons but i feel like the BR and the Magnum are -The God Weapons- of Halo 5. I feel like these two weapons should be nerfed just a tad not so much that the weapons become crap and not usable, i’m just saying make it to were it doesn’t feel like were two pump chumps. Now onto the Gravity Hammer…oh this -Yoink-. only thing i need to say is please lower the blast radius of it i feel like it has a blast radius a freaking nuke has…oh and if you could lower the lunge for the energy sword that would be nice too i don’t wanna be reminded of commando pro.
the pistol is beast on this game… and i feel like the BR has been OP’d since 3. I hardly ever use it.
I miss dual wield though

Knowing 343 it will probably be the new mythic weapon for the Infection update, if were lucky.
Wait, if you are a halo 2 veteran then you should realize that the BR in halo 5 is not as powerful/god like as say the halo 2 BR. The halo 5 BR has less mangetism and therefore are larger room for user error. Also the BR can be beat by just about every weapon in the respected ranges. The BR will be beat by the DMR at long range, and most likely beat by the AR/SMG and close range. The BR is a mid range weapon and falls short outside of the respected range. If it dominated in all ranges I would agree that it is god like but the Halo 5 BR just does not do that. The pistol is a great weapon do to it being able to stand a chance against a BR or DMR but again it falls short outside of its respected range and tends to be beat by many other weapons.
I also disagree on the hammer, its seems to me that the hammer has a small blast radius limited to directly infront of the user. Its beast at CQB but is just about crap at any other range as it should be.

Thank you for the response what you said makes a lot of sense but anyways thanks man i will definitely uses this to my advantage for now on.

I agree with Porcin3 Proph3t (no offense op). The pistol is basically a DMR but with less range. The BR is a mid range weapon and will get beat 9 times out of 10 against other weapons at there respected ranges (except for the AR). The gravity hammer is a close quarters weapon so it’s only effective in close quarters. This game is very balanced and even if things were over powered, I don’t think they’d be nerfed anyways.
