This is not a usual topic but I hope it doesn’t get taken off because it is a very serious issue.
When I played online in a game of btb on halo reach it was somehow a game of all girls vs all guys (coincidence much) and I was obviously on the guys team. My entire team left because they were being pwnd by the women. I stuck around but there was no way I was winning.
anyway I know it’s hard to believe (not really) that girls play halo but give it up. Sometimes they are better than us.
No But I highly believe in this
I hold female players in high regard just like anyone else, if not, higher.
I’ve met lots of people that don’t share your opinion
So players are leaving because they are being up skilled by a girl. OK. Maybe the boys should grow some balls and admit that there are better players than them, and yes of the opposite -Yoink!-.
Also despite it’s age rating of 16 i have definitely heard people way younger than that. Maybe their age affects how they view the situation as well.
At the end of the day if you can shoot and your aim is true, I could care less if you id as an M808 MBT as long as you have fun and bring the wins in then you are ok as a gamer in my book.
I agree gender equality is tremendously important. If a group of guys can’t accept that women can be more skillful than them then its their loss.

Halo 5 is rated for 13+ in America, so yeah there are a lot of younger folks on the game. If anything I would think younger kids would be less biased.
Wait, hold on. I’m confused. Are you saying that in your match on BTB, everyone on the other team was using the female model or they were just straight up girls? Cause you can be a guy and still use the female model, and vice versa. Nevertheless, I’m not really sure I understand the entire purpose of this thread. Yes, it is quite apparent that girls do play Halo, and hell I’m not even sure there was an argument against that in the first place.

You think so? I would have thought little kids would get into more tantrums, if their not the best.

They’re definitely more likely to get upset. What I’m trying to say is that they probably aren’t as eager to blame it on women playing the game.

I don’t know I think that no matter what age you are if people see the opposite gender doing better than themselves they are likely to feel a bit useless. It could happen when someone is young or when they are old.

I was gonna say, looks like you beat me to it.
If I just finished a great game and there is a player on the enemy team that stood out, or even got a good amount of kills on me. I’ll send them a message saying ‘gg’ regardless of age, gender or skill
There is also the occasional “he is over there” or “he has ____”. This is just a form of habit, since a huge portion of gaming is dominantly male.
Recently gaming became more socially acceptable for both genders, before it would be “only boys play video games” but now everyone can too and I’m ok with that. There’s no reason why anyone should be against that, video games are just fun and everyone’s gotta have fun.
I know women have a harder time than men, in online gaming. The get hit on and trolled constantly. I’m glad to see them banding together and winning.
