How do you guys feel about the lack of gender in the game, and it being replaced by body types instead? Also, do you think they’ll add voice options rather than just give your spartan a random voice?
Dunno, I didn’t play the final game yet.
I’m pretty sure its been said that Spartan voice options are in the Player ID section that we couldn’t access in the flight (so far). As for lack of gender it doesn’t really matter too much as (assuming you can freely choose a voice in the final build) you have a bulky body, feminine body, and neutral body that you can use with a male or female voice. Combine those with prosthetics and you can express your physical form reasonably freely.

Yeah im mostly just waiting for the voices
You can edit the voice. This option is available on the waypoint app. It will be under Spartan ID in the final game along with your emblem.
No one should really have any issue with the body type being separate from the voice. There is nothing wrong with that and it does not really affect anything.
It is a but upsetting to see that the body types do not affect armor at all, though I do get why it would lift a burden from the artist from having to make all armor 2 or 3 times over to fit each body type.

Yea, unlike previous Halo games the body type only appears to affect the under armour and not dramatically enough tbh. Hopefully we get more body types with increased impact on the over armour too.
