Not sure if anyone knows, or has heard mention of the Decimator-Class armor. Supposedly it was the closet thing, as far as visuals, to resemble the Mk VII armor. Any links or further info is appreciated.
yes,indeed it is the closest armor to ressemble the mark Vll. And it will be feature in halo 5 in a dlc. It is call decimator because the mark vll is not finished it still a prototype,the only known spartan to have one is spartan naomi, she apears in a halo novel, by the looks of it, it looks ugly speccialy the helmet, hope 343 changes the desing in halo 5 because its the -Yoink!- mark Vll!! Nothing can go wrong with this one, please 343 dont let us

The one on the novel cover was just the Mk V/b. Only there for looks I suppose, maybe because Reach was out at that time, pure speculation on my part. I’d like to see the continuation of the Mk VI, maybe alittle more streamlined. Wish it’d use the Chief’s helmet- Mk VI MOD 0. Or a modified MkVI/b.

It’s already in the game as the Noble armor. Just uses Mark V/K (commando) helmet instead.

But they are completely different. The helmet is monumentally different and the chest piece and shoulders are fairly different. Heck I don’t care if they do the helmet then reskin the noble armor like they do for the locus.</strong></strong>
but guys remember this decimator armor is not officialy the mark vll, it is the closest thing to ressemble one but it is not a mark vll, this is the first time we will see one in a game, it will be in a dlc , the other armors confirm in halo 5 are: Marauder armor, atlas armor, mark v (halo ce), and decimator armor( the mark vll)

Mark VII Default
DECIMATOR-Class (Closest GEN 2 MJOLNIR to Mark VII)
yes DECIMATIOR-Class armor is not the Mk VII. In fact, much of the Mk VI development was implemented into the GEN 2 system. Just looking forward to seeing the new armors, and hopefully the above mentioned permutation. Although, id rather have the Chief’s Mk VI MOD 0, but I don’t see that anytime soon. I’d also like to see a customizable techsuit- color wise.
I’m just happy we got the Noble helmet, Since its the Commando from Reach and I LOVED the Commando from Reach…which is why Halo 4’s version made me sad xD
