So I am guessing the GEN 2 armor can’t hold an on-board AI? If not would their be variations of GEN 2 that could? I think it’s kind of a important feature, to not have it at all would be disappointing.
Says its backwards compatible to GEN 1 so even if the capability wasn’t there then it could use old armor system parts that could. Honestly it would only be if the user had the certain neural face installed.
actually just found this when I finished that last sentence so it is a standard with all IV’s.
I imagine it’s probably dependant on the armor model. RECRUIT Armor probably doesn’t but a Armor set designed for Cyber intrusion and such like would have one. Spartan NIs would mean any Spartan could use an AI if the suit supported it too
From Halo: New Blood, Chapter Fourteen:
> They wired me up with enough onboard electronics that they’ll have to recycle me rather than bury or burn me when I’m gone. I can see in the dark, interface with an AI, and I presume there’s some kind of indestructible data recorder so they can monitor my health and performance.
