The concept of the geas was never properly touched again in halo. I wonder what gifts did the librarian unlocked and will it be included in Infinite or 343 just abandoned it?
We know it unlocked chief’s immunity to being composed, but I think we’ll be waiting on that front until the librarian is brought back into play.

Mostly this it was a plot point in Halo 4 and had no bearing on Halo 5 what so ever, so who knows hopefully the story takes us to some answers and maybe some more questions.
