While Halo is the flagship title for Xbox, Gears has its own huge group of fans and definitely has the power to get more people playing Xbox. Im super excited for Gears 4 to start a new story with a new crew, while still respecting the old games.

Im pre ordering it and installing it on the weekend. So hyped for horde 3.0. Took IGN 6 hours to get through all the waves!!!
My friend told me Amazon oversold their preorders, and his Ultimate edition wont be coming until next week because he locked in too late. He is livid. Me on the other hand, I’ll be on bright and early Friday.

I was the same way, but my older cousin gave me the Gears games as I gift and me and my lil brother have been playing the co op campaigns together and let me tell you, they are fun. Halo 5 was the first Halo that I had to play without him, and he was really sad he couldn’t play. Gears filled the gap. Now, I don’t know how ethical it is for a 10 year old to be playing Gears, and if my Mom found out what we were playing I would be hanged, but me and Mikey(my lil bro) are having the time of our lives on these games.
Also, I was surprised on how deep the the theme of family is in Gears. Marcus and Dom have probably the best brotherhood I have ever seen in a game, and Dom looking for Maria really pulls at your heartstrings. To tell you the truth, Blue Team should have been more like Delta Squad in Halo 5, instead of being so shallow.
You’re asking if I’m excited for Gears 4? Nope, not at all sorry
