Unless a spring showcase pops up, I think the Game Developers Conference is the last real chance before E3 for any info release…unless 343 post stuff randomly of course.

“The not too distant future”, right out of Mystery Science Theater. But really, I really hope we get real info soon, whether the game is Halo 5 or Halo 2 Anniversary.
To Urbane, we can’t be too confident on information being displayed next bulletin but we can count on a possible leak well before or at least a few weeks before E3.
There always is a strong likelihood of an event like this.

True. I just mean more that they’re unlikely to do a panel or big reveal trailer before E3. There’s unlikely to be any big leaks at other events before E3 unless they plan to do something at these events.
It’d make sense for them to hype the start of their official information releases, not some event down the road and remain oddly silent about when it starts. So it seems to me like they plan to start releasing official information at E3.
If you look at the DirectX12 twitter, you can see them quoting Halsey. Microsoft said there wont be anything about games at GDC, but they also denied Halo 4 before showing it at e3 2011. Showing off Halo with dx12 features would be perfect for Microsoft, even if its just a tech demo.
