Halo 5 is a terrible excuse for a halo game. Keep in mind that I’m a halo lover since day 1 and I love playing competitive Halo. First off sprint is stupid to have in the game. A game don’t need to be realistic like the books to be good and doesn’t need armor abilites. People have hated them since the beginning. PEOPLE DONT LIKE CHANGE, PEOPLE DONT WANT CHANGE. They don’t just say it for their health people. Oh well all modern shooters have sprint. IDC!!! CS:GO is the number 1 shooter out there and guess what no sprint!!! Well we want faster paced games that go quicker. Ok but I remember nothing better then to watch MLG TS on pit 49-49 stalemate. The intensity is so real that it’s ridiculous. 343 just wants sprint in the game to cater to 12 year olds that get a hard on when they can sprint around the map and thruster everywhere. I mean come on my 10 year old cousin thinks killing is fun in general. Halo 1,2, and 3 were the best and I don’t care what reach kids or h4 or even h5 kids say your wrong reach, 4, and 5 were the downfall to halo so you can’t even disagree. Halo 1 made Xbox popular, halo 2 made Xbox live popular and made MLG what it is today and halo 3 continued it. Halo 3 is one of the best selling game to date. IDC if Halo 5 sold more or not it’s a teen rated game so more kids can buy it since it’s pretty much a kids game and it promoted a 2 million dollar tournament so of course people are gonna buy it. So comparing it to halo 5 would be stupid. Plus Halo 5 has nowhere near the population halo 3 held for 3 years when h5 has been out what 2 months? H5 maybe has 50,000-75000? Idk it only has less then 20,000 ranked in arena and I don’t think war zone has that much more then that. Same for reach and 4. All 3 drop like a rock. That point right there proves it reach 4 and 5 died after months (btw h5 will really die after the 2 mil tourney) and h2 and 3 lasted 3 years each with 100,000-250,000 at night average and 350,000-750,000 average during the day. Now remember that’s average so it could be more or less depending on the day. H3 sometimes peaked at 1,000,000 but not much the pop counter wasn’t always right. So if any butt hurt sprint lovers wanna argue don’t you have no arguement population says it all. Secondly any game CAN be competitive. Its whether the game is balanced competitively is what makes the game good. Sprint having to be nerfed for Halo 5 proves that it’s unbalanced in the first place so trying to fix it to make it work is a waste of time and just takes more competitiveness out of it. Increased hit boxes and increased bullet magnetism??? Barley any aim assist??? Why 343 why? Aim assist was implemented into halo 1 cuz the only way for it to work properly on a joystick instead of a mouse is for aim assist to be there otherwise a FPS on a console is a joke. So let’s just take out what makes FPS possible on consoles and increase bullet magnetism and hit boxes. (Don’t fix something that’s not broken) Increased hit boxes and bullet magnetism. Okay they did that for Halo 4 and even more for Halo 5. It’s been tested for both games you don’t even have to hit someone for the bullets to count. You can be inches from someone’s face and it registers??? What and this is a balanced competitive game? That right there breaks that. AR/Pistol for competitive. Okay there’s a big arguement about how BR starts seperates the community and stuff so it should be vanilla like h1. Okay I agree that in halo 3 110% damage and 110% speed seperates the community but having the BR as a starting weapon doesn’t. It’s no different from team BRs in vanilla Team Slayer. Also it’s a weapon from the game a weapon does not seperate the communist. Settings yes, starting weapon no. Plus the AR as competitive start yeah I’ll just stray and pray my way to victory instead of using a precision weapon that takes still. The pistol Is unbalanced. Yes it’s hard to use which is good but it’s inconsistent and doesn’t work properly. The Riticle is way too small and shots are not consistent. I can’t tell you how many times I hit someone in the head get a hit marker and yet I can’t kill them when they’re one shot. BR works fine every time but that pistol is just not balanced right. So let’s put a spray and pray and inconsistent pistol as starting weapons the for whole game. Not to mention that the pistol is 95% of the time your primary. There’s no team BR gametypes and the only time you get to use it is in swat and magnums gets chosen even more then BRs in that anyways. Not to mention no DMR starts period glad I get to use my skin for that weapon. The maps in halo 5 are terrible. Alright let’s just remake the maps from previous halos and put those in as new maps (btb) or let’s just take midship and remake it 4 times with slight changes and call it 4 different maps. 343 get some ideas you can’t make an original map for nothing. Let’s just now remix all the maps and make those new maps too. Barry any of those maps are even symmetrical for competitive anyways MOST Halo 2 and 3 maps are symmetrical minus guardian and lockout etc. H5 has what 2/3 maybe. Campaign was a big lie and they advertised it as a lie. Not even Going into detail on that plenty of other people have. No oddball or koth??? Really Classic gametypes and competitive gametypes not even in the game. So it’s just slayer, flag, strongholds (cods domination rip off), and breakout (cods search and destroy rip off). Playlist variety is terrible. No objective playlist, still no Doubles or snipers but they’ve been rotated in. Why not just leave them in?? How about that? 8 player FFA which should be 6. Arena is just a mix up of all the playlists in the game besides swat and btb. Btw btb should’ve been there at launch when it wasn’t same with forge. So let’s release 50% of the game and we’ll just release updates that’s gives them the rest BUT… Well make ourselves look good by making it seem like it’s awesome free dlc when it should’ve been there since the beginning. Oh and these new maps are going to mostly be forge made maps from the community but we’ll take credit for them too. Well just wait 343 will fix the game and release patches soon. I’m done waiting for 343 to fix their mistakes. They’re lazy and money greedy. Look at MCC 1 year after launch and the games still broken when they promised they would keep working at it until it’s 100% fixed. Yeah you go ahead and wait I’m done waiting and I’ve ran out of patience and chances for 343. No social until just recently. Glitchy ranking system that sometimes doesn’t even move up or down sometimes after playing multiple games it’s just frozen. Forge is harder then ever to use once again don’t fix something that’s not broken 343 what happened to basic forge where anyone could do it any the controls always stayed the same. Still no theater with more then 1 person come on that’s been gone since halo 3 and it’s been wanted back ever since. Just helmet and chest piece customization? I liked it better when I could customize with only 10 armored in h3 better then this. I at least felt like I had an identity instead of 30 armored being similar with slight changes to be different. 100-200 armors try 20-30 just slightly modified to make 100-200. Still no real file browser system like reach. They finally got a file share but no browser. You can give 343 bread and butter but all you’ll get is burned toast.
