Seriously, it’s req 8 ultra rare for a standard cardboard armour plated Gauss 'Hog.
The shots have virtually no magnetism to them, shooting at moving targets while you are also moving makes it nearly impossible to get kills and on top of it, you get shot out of the thing so easily it’s not worth it. It’s labeled as an anti-tank vehicle but can’t take a single round from a tank and does very little damage to tanks.
And for BTB the gunner seat needs a slight buff. No one uses a hog if you are in evenly matched teams because they will be dead before you can even red-bar an enemy. You should have more armour facing towards the enemy - looking back to past Halo games you either needed an entire team to put constant fire to stop hogs or find power weapons. Now all you need is three guys with a BR to put a few rounds on the gunner and its done.
Halo 3 was a gold standard in vehicle balance. Vehicles were strong and if you wanted to kill them you picked up a weapon on the map to counter them, additionally weapons were less accurate and not hit-scan. Vehicles should be balanced accordingly for BTB at least. Warzone plays a bit differently so it’s not as bad IMO.
