Well today i found i picture on halo nation with chief and a warthog behind him. To me the turret looks a little wide to be the standard machine gun so im thinking it could be a gauss. Does look like a gauss turret, but then again could be a new turret or just the regular turret, no way to say either way.

Looks a lot like a Gauss Turret to me, but we can’t be 100% certain.
