what do you guys think of getting garenteed items in req packs just like they did with the hcs req
That would be nice. I’m not a real fan of the RNG system.
I don’t have any major problems with the current system, but for people who aren’t interested in Warzone, I could imagine it being frustrating having to go through all the certifications and such when you’re really just trying to unlock some piece of armor. I think it’d be nice for those players to have the options of some sort of pack that’s just customization reqs and Arena boosts or something like that.
I have no problem with the current system we have in place. And while this suggestion sounds pretty straightforward and positive, this might cause a huge gap for people in warzone. I feel as though a good majority of people would only go for the armor or aesthetic packs so they could unlock their favorite gear, causing a good disadvantage to anyone who wanted to jump into warzone every once in a while. Because the people who are interested in warzone would probably avoid armor packs in favor of req packs with warzone specific items. This could leave us with people who have little to no warzone reqs trying to fight it out with people who have everything unlocked in warzone.

I’m in the same boat. I’ve had the game since launch and I play a disgusting amount of halo. So far I’ve unlocked 2 stances and 2 assassinations and a handful of weapon skins. It’s frustrating when you pop a gold and it doesn’t contain what you were hoping for but I’m enjoying the grind for now. (FOR NOW)
If there was one that gave weapons, say a DMR pack I might buy. But I actually like the system in place.
