Do you think that the halo games need to more competitive?
I think this was posted before.
I thought Ghandi was a pacifist? Strange move for him to come out against a video game series.
Halo was known for its competitiveness, All the MLG and tournaments.
But this game needs to step up, its losing so much players b/c of it.
I notice oG gamer tags playing this game till there was none on the 2nd-3rd week.
Like I actually care what he thinks? Will not stop me from enjoying a franchise I have played since I was a little guy.
Halo already requires more skill than the majority of shooters out there, just remove about 90% of the features of Halo 4 and the MLG’s will be happy.
Lots of mlg people are playing customs exclusively right now, testing the ever evolving settings until something is finalized. Hopefully Ghostayame and them can strike a good middle ground between competitive play and the settings in matchmaking, to make it more accessible to everyone.

I’m pretty sure Halo has negative players now, because its been losing “so much players” since the day Halo 3 released.
Why do people care so much about the Halo Council? All they seem to do is join in with all the whining.
His intentions are not what you think. He is offering his personal opinion, which we’re all qualified to have our own opinions. He’s been around for every game, and he knows what he’s talking about, but again, he is granted to his own opinion, some will agree with it, some won’t. He knows what can work, and what won’t. But so many close minded people here who are blind to what halo has become and reject everyone else s thoughts and opinions. There needs to be a balance on casual and competitive, its possible when done right, which it has not been done right…yet at least. We can co-exist but when people are so closed minded, it becomes nearly impossible for the competitive side and casual side to co-exist. Its possible to be at peace with both communities, so instead of arguing with one another over whats better, casual or competitive, stop it, its not worth it, and doesn’t solve anything at all, just divides the game even more and makes it more difficult to have a mix of both.
The multiplayer component of Halo 4, which is not all the game is about, is competitive as is.
I’m really sick of hearing people bashing this game based in their own opinion of what’s wrong with the multiplayer element. Especially those who think for whatever reason that they, and they alone, are right about how this game has turned out.
Further we are clearly being deluged by the unsatsified because the others are just playing the game and enjoying it, you know like the MLG players who helped write the strategy guide for the game?
