When you play your games, whether it be Halo, Gears, anything, what songs do you listen to?
Do you have a special playlist for a specific game?
Do you have a genre for every game?

I only use playlists when playing Halo(for some reason), seems to make it a bit more face paced for me. I listen to Halo 4 Original Soundtrack Remixes, most of them are fast paced and have great beats to them. Example : Nemesis[Alvin Risk Remix] It was used for the UNSC Weapons trailer.
When I play anything on PC, I listen to soundtracks of two games, original soundtrack of DoDonPachi Saidaioujou and remixed soundtrack of Death Smiles. Sometimes I might try to listen to something else but it’s quite rare. Usually I listen to death metal when I want to listen to something else.
It doesn’t really matter what kind of game I’m playing when it comes to which playlist I want to listen to. I just listen to the playlist, which I feel like I want to hear more. And when it comes to games, I do listen to music even if I play horror games like Amnesia.
It’s usually just Halo MP, because that’s really the only multiplayer I play
Original Soundtrack Remixes fits amazing with Halo 4’s War Games.
*hint: Green and Blue (Andrew Bayer Remix)

I enjoy listening to Halo tracks while I play SpOps. It can be relaxing and energetic.
I used to play the Halo 4 remixes in mm back in the past, I really don’t do that any more. Spartan Ops, I mute the game and play the Pacific Rim or Godzilla: Final Wars soundtrack over it.
I play the GOW music occasionally, though I played presscott’s speech down the mic in game chat to boost team morale and believe it or not, it worked.
I tend to prefer in-game audio over anything else. I heavily rely on audio cues in a game like Halo or Mass Effect to determine where the enemy is, and playing music over that detracts from gameplay. I also enjoy a lot of the ambiance from games like Assassin’s Creed or the Elder Scrolls games!
I play whatever I’ve got on my 3DS.
sometimes it won’t fit but I like it because of the song. Sometimes it makes the game much more enjoyable because of the beat.
I just play what music I’m comfortable with not if it matches the game. But I can’t say this really happens unless I can turn the music off for the game and keep Sound on. Generally when I’m farming I do this as I concentrate better.
When I play games, i tend to put on music from the Original Trilogy of Halo. The “True” music by Martin O’Donnell
