Let me know what you would recommend for a good universal gaming headset, I own both a PS4 and Xbox One and would like a good headset for FPS games and horror games but especially Halo. I would like accurate sound reproduction, bass, and a good microphone that wont pick up too much background noise. Also I don’t want them to be too ugly or have overly flashy colors(I’m very picky, in case you couldn’t tell). Preferably $100 and under. Thanks!
i recommend the turtle beach xo seven for xbox one it is really good but thats around 140$ but if you go to the waypoint shop you can get a really cool halo xb1 one skull candy headset for 100$
I would recommend Astro A40’s. Light, durable, 7.1 Digital Dolby Surround Sound, customizable speaker tags and a whole lot more.
It will cost $250.00 retail for the headset mix amp bundle…but trust me, it is definitely worth it. I’ve had mine for about a year now and I’ve also done a couple of 24hr gaming sessions with them. Light and comfortable. They have never pinched my ears or messed up in any way.
I have the wired 2013 edition. Compatible with Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS2, PS3, PS4 and PC. Pretty universal if you ask me. I know it’s a bit out of your price range…but hey, it’s a quality headset.
If you want a really honest answer… buy one for about 40 dollars and bank the rest of the cash… their not to much of a sound difference to make a serious difference.
I’d recommend a cheaper headset for your first time. Even a $40 one can really change how you hear the game.
Whatever you do, try to avoid Turtle Beachs, they generally have low build quality compared to other headsets.
