So I do know how much this has been covered so I apologize if it’s been overdone and if people are tired of it. Gametypes and gametype support are key things to Halo. They’re part of what made it great. Racing, Infection, and Grifball are all well known and well loved gametypes. We have this awesome forge that we can’t fully utilize because all we can make are slayer maps. The game has gotten boring because all I feel I’m playing is slayer or slayer+objective. It’s getting old. What happened to mod support. It made Halo 4 fairly popular game again and breathed new life into reach. We haven’t seen any of that in Halo 5. I also find this concerning because the gap between Halo and other FPS games is closing. This isn’t a jab at 343 or other video games, but Halo used to be unique game. Different game modes were a part of that. Sure, Call of Duty has a wide variety, but it was nothing like Halo Reach’s matchmaking options. On top of that, forge allowed the community to do so much more with the gamemodes. Imagine an Infection map with scary lighting, strobing lights, and fog. Zombified Spartans chasing after you, havimg only a pistol and shotgun to fend for yourself. Fun racing games where rainbow road is remade into Halo. Bring those gamemodes back and don’t do the weekend playlist crap, we want to plsy these gamemodes whenever we want to. Please do consider this.
