Pretty Simple. What gametypes would you like to see make a return? Maybe they didn’t make the cut from Halo 3, 2, or 1. Perhaps they debuted in Halo 4. Post which gametype you want to see return! (Slayer and CTF don’t truly count, but you may post your favorite gametype if you wish to).

I want to be able to make the game-type on halo 2 (King Of The Ring) where you would have 8 people in a game and it spawned 2 people 1v1 and who ever won stayed in the game and it would cycle through the rest of the players.

Halo CE=Assimilation.You are assigned a target via waypoint and you get a point if you kill that target,while somebody has a waypoint on you and are trying to kill you.If you kill somebody and they are not your target,no points for you.(sounds like a ripoff of Assi.Creed,but it isn’t)
Halo2=None.
Halo3=V.I.P.
Halo Reach=Invasion.To me it’s the best unique gametype Reach has.
A barebones Head to Head playlist with no AA’s and Ordinance drops would be great.

Poll is up! Btw, I forgot all about VIP. That was a great gametype. Does anybody remember Generator Defense from the Beta? It was actually pretty fun.
I want a search and destroy type mode
i know its from call of duty but it dosen’t mean its bad. Its actually one of the only modes i can bear playing

Generator Defense was really fun, but really laggy. If it worked better in H4 I would definitely play it.
I want Infection to make a good comeback. Reach had a good potential to make Infection great with the Living Dead playlist but ruined it.
I want the Balance to make it’s comeback, like most gametypes in H3 had. Zombies were harder to kill and you couldn’t camp the entire match until you ran out of ammo.
With Reach I noticed playing a zombie wasn’t fun, even with my changed up strategies since I never blindly rushed the Humans.
I also hope they use community-made maps that are good as well as balanced playlists. (If they do Brains again then there will have to be a Balance in some form).
I am probably one of the few that ENJOYED Safe Havens, It was the most Balanced out of them all until it was removed.
I would kill for Spartan on Spartan Invasion.

I think that was because it was an update for the game, a test. They were doing something with the graphics because it was a larger forested map. They turned that map into a firefight map, but I think it could’ve been a good slayer map, too. It kind of reminded me of High Ground.

They were stressing the netcode to simulate what it would be like with AI (covenant support for Elites) on top of the 6 players.
Proved it was the right thing to do, as it became 4 players in the retail version.
The map had nothing to do with it, look at Boneyard or Spire. If the map was too big or clustered, it would result in framerate / console performance lag anyway, not an unstable connection.
OT: I want H3 Rocket Race, Fiesta and Reach chess back.
I’d like to see battleship and avalanche added to the action sack playlist. I’d also like Action Sack, Infection, and Grifball not to count towards a player’s K/D.

That’s because there is a glitch where the juggernaut’s weapon can’t be changed with custom settings, leaving the juggernaut stuck with a gravity hammer in all gametypes (which REALLY doesn’t play well).
