Gametypes. Old favorites not making the cut.

What’s everybody’s opinion on this? I personally hate it.

Popular game types that have been in every Halo since Halo 2 are not in at launch and from the looks of it some won’t be returning.

FFA Slayer
Team Doubles
Assault
Team Snipers
Team Swat
Other CTF variants

Besides Team Slayer, these were the most popular game types, and they won’t be here at launch. <mark>I can see Doubles, Assault, and other CTF variants like 1 flag never making a return.</mark>

My personal thoughts are to remove the more popular game types so people are forced to play their simplified -Yoink- CTF and Regicide.

Every game type I named in bold has been some of the most popular game types in Halo’s history more so than Infection/Flood and Grifball.

I think its a huge mistake leaving them out.

What do you guys/girls think about this?

They made all these new game types for us to try and they want us to give them a shot before we go back to what we already know.

I have one friend I play with online, we always played doubles and it was our favorite gametype. So now i’m forced to group up with randoms because they decided not to add it? I honestly don’t think they plan on adding Doubles in the future.

I don’t want to play a guessing game and just hope they add it months down the road. I should be able to play doubles out of the box, like I always have.
