Can 343 use the playlist variant voted for as a baseline for the communities likes/dislikes?
Basically I was wondering if 343 had the ability to monitor what playlist variants are voted for most frequently. Such as if Slayer Pro is voted for more often than Infinity Slayer and if so by how much.
If so has 343 taken into consideration making small changes and monitoring the results to see if one variant is more popular than other and tweaking the gameplay accordingly.
It would be a great way to observe what the fans want.
Slayer Pro should have its own playlist…
GET IT OUT OF BTIS
lets us see truly how many players want to play this game type & for those that say “343 cant add a game-type to playlist” erm EXTRACTION duh
OP, they monitor all of those stats and more and make adjustments accordingly.

LMFAO!
Your joking right. Be careful what you ask for.
The facts will show,IMO, that Pro is rarely voted for! This has also been my experience since Pro appeared.
It’s been my experience that Slayer Pro is rarely voted for. If it is, it’s because people aren’t paying attention and just voting for the map and once they see it’s Pro, they drop game.
They have no way of accurately taking count of whether or not people like pro or infinity better, thanks to the extremely backwards voting system (compared to reach).
So lets say there are two options. One is complex with pro settings and the other is ragnarok with infinity settings. Obviously, people will be voting for ragnarok regardless of the settings due to the fact that ragnarok is the more popular map of the two. Because of the way the voting system is set up, the first thing people are going to vote for is the map.
That’s why I think they should make separate playlists for both settings so they can accurately tell which of the two is more popular. However, I feel like they are afraid to do this because if the community is able to see which one is more popular, they are going to start complaining about how the less popular one should be dropped entirely.
And god forbid if infinity settings were less popular…

In your experience, but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t voted for often. Also, you have to remember that most of the older fanbase has left this game, and the people left playing Halo 4 tend to enjoy Infinity settings. I’ve played like 2 slayer pro games out of the 10 or so games I have played since returning. At least half my games were JiP and all games that I was JiP’d into were Infinity excluding one.
SLAYER PRO should have its own playlist.

I figured they did I just wasn’t sure. I may need to choose my examples more carefully in the future I wasn’t trying to say slayer pro is better, personally I prefer CTF
